Powerful message
This is soo important! Why is Rabbi YY silent on abuse of children and fathers, in the form of false allegations made to win favorable dispositions in the legal system and social circles?! Abuse of anyone innocent soul is abhorrent!! Why the deafening silence by Rabbi YY?! Why is he being selective in his focus?? Is he pandering?? Does he not care about the victims of false Abuse-allegations, fathers and children torn apart with life long repercussions?? I await to hear Rabbi YY speak up loudly and clearly on all forms of domestic abuse! Otherwise. I love Rabbi YY’s content and passion!

Didnt find any letter like that from 9th of Teveth 1955, is it possible to double check the date or give the reference ?
They didn't separate the woman from that abusive husband!!! And they knew what was happening meanwhile!!!! And didn't call the police!!!! Horrible!!!!
I am a therapist close to 40 years and it's not true that in most of the cases the husband is more to accuse then the wife so the rabbi is mistaking
The rabbi is writing from a Torah vision
And what he says is basically that I husband can heal his wife’s pain so therefore he is more to blame for problems in marriage
And FYI when we see someone says something that does not work with the way i worked with couples for 40 years that means that it’s time for a cheshbon hanefesh and look into yourself what could I have done to make the marriage of couples great again
And you might get an answer right away

Chaim. You may be absolutely right, within your understanding and subjective experience as a therapist. But please allow me to add with respect and honor to you (not knowing you, or you knowing me). As a man father divorcée you are correct. Just imagine or fathom how a man as myself sees this post these words and your reply.
I know very well many husbands are to blame. As you yourself and as the Rebbe says “in most cases” but for me that minimal 1-2% this is so emotionally difficult to hear.

@@Michael-NYC sorry for your pain. The Rebbe is writing this letter to what seems obvious to be a case of extreme abuse. There were many shalom bayis issues that crossed the Rebbe’s desk, however it is unusual to see the Rebbe respond at all as an arbiter, and moreso with such extreme sharpness. Even in the worst cases, the blame is almost never 100 v 0 culpability. The best you can do in abuse cases is to see who is more wrong. And act accordingly to rescue the party less in the wrong.
I'm not disputing The Rebbe, but let's get away from blaming people and stop demonizing people. It has yet to solve any marriage problems.

Only a victim of abuse can understand this letter and actually feel gratitude with the Rebbe.
The Rebbe always teach trying to find shalom bayit and save a marriage. But there is thinks are just unacceptable!
You can’t image how much abuse inside many “religious” couples.
Unfortunately many use the Halacha and Torah words against the spouse
@@hannahelancry2192 your talking to a survivor, abuse happens from sides in some ways more often from females then males because of the cultural stigma .
