Hey Danielle, for the tommy jeans with bum crack 😂, just get any fabric u want, maybe a piece of old denim, put it underneath the hole and sew it or use fabric glue. It will pick out instead of your bootie.

I love 90s fashion! My fave right now. Regarding the rip on the butt are on those jeans, would you consider patching it up with a similar denim color? Or even some other color patches? I've recently seen some that look really cute. Hopefully you figure something out where you can get more use out of it!

Love the haul! I might still buy from Depop but I don't think I'll sell again,the first time left a bad taste in my mouth,Depop only accepting PayPal,not letting you get your money (including shipping) until after the person gets their item AND taking the shipping cost out of the price of the item instead of making it separate...
Eventually Depop lets you get away from PayPal and all money can go directly to your bank account. I think it’s after you hit a certain number of sales. And Depop has two options for shipping - ship on your own or with Depop! You either ship depending on weight (which is separate from the listing price) or you set your own shipping cost. If you provide free shipping then it’ll take from the listed price. It all depends on the sellers preference. Super sorry you didn’t have a good experience as a seller! I would give Poshmark a try! It’s definitely more user friendly and you can upload more pics! 😃✨

not a fan of them since they are one of those people who clear out thrift stores and buy the good items for like five bucks and resell the things for $40 and up, I get wanting to make a profit but geez :/
It takes a lot of hours and money to run a depop shop. The items have to be searched for, cleaned, photographed, listed, stored and shipped. This doesn’t include the space it takes and all the supplies needed. You are paying for the convenience of finding unique items easily that you can click a button and it shows up to your front door :)
@@kailanicapelouto2686 Yeah I mean I completely understand that aspect of it, however it makes shopping sustainably more difficult for people because again the prices are way too high for items that were already worn a hundred times. They are making the prices as high as something you'd buy new from a store. Like it makes buying a new item more worth it since again, its brand new. That's what throws me off from it all, can't get anything nice from my local thrift stores so when I look online it just baffles me.
k a y not trying to be mean but no one is forcing you to shop on depop. thrift stores in the US wind up throwing away almost 90% of clothes that are donated and you can’t blame others because you can’t find items you like at a thrift store😊❤️ some people have lost their jobs because of covid (such as me) and have resorted to side hustles to support themselves and daily expenses. there are plenty of clothes for everyone lol
@@cakelady8534 I mean yeah I'm aware of that, I never said I hated depop as a whole. I've had multiple purchases with people who price items reasonably, and ones who are open and honest about raising prices because of they are struggling. There is no issue there. But I'm not necessarily blaming others because I can't find pieces I like at thrift stores... personally were I live there's like 2 stores and it's just luck base on what you find. But it sucks for the vast majority of people who can't afford to buy from big brands and still want cool and trendy clothes. and again I'm aware? I also have lost my job from covid and am jobless. I get that people need money to get by, but this has been going on way longer before the pandemic lol. I'm allowed to have my own opinion on how depop shops are ran, no harm in that.
hey there - Nostalgic Threadz my depop shop and I just want you to know I SOURCE all my vintage... I don't buy them from thrift stores. I occasionally thrift items on my shop, but the bulk of my inventory is sourced from legit vintage warehouses all over California (and hopefully once the pandemic is over, it'll be from all over the US).
I totally respect your point of view, but I just want you to know I literally pour my heart and soul into this business for 5 years and finally got somewhere with it this past year. I want to enlighten you on my process, that yes maybe some items are thrifted, but I will spend an entire day at a warehouse digging through clothes, stain removing, repairing, etc. etc. Also the pandemic has really raised the price on secondhand clothing, specifically vintage. Many of the flea markets, warehouses, etc. had to close down because of quarantine and are barely making it right now. I make sure all the warehouses I source from treat their employees well and I have a relationship with the teams I work with. Thrifting is still good to save second hand, but remember these thrift stores aren't always run by good people... just my POV on the industry. There's space for high end, low end, etc. etc. Just support the people you want to support. Have a great day!
