U mean railfanners.
@@ejdsndnj judging by your name you'd know better than I
@@Mongoliantreecow not really
@@ejdsndnj I mean, ya went out of your way to correct my terminology of a person who is interested in railroads/trains, and your name has the exact term that you used to correct said terminology. But aight

You were excited enough for both of us! LOL!

The engines screaming like no tomorrow ..... this thing MOVES
this has so much force that i could summon a portal straight to hell
Your enthusiasm is infectious. The sound of the diesel locomotive approaching is awesome. Great catch. 👍
Great video! We share your excitement - nothing like a fast freight train to start the morning!
That thing was moving!
Notch 8 @ track speed baby they gettin there on time haha 😂
Lol
@ 1:14, trailer with reefer control door open goes wizzing past.

He ain't just a shittin that train was moving. When I worked for Renzenberger transporting crews I usd to love watching them fly by.
Love the sounds that train made as it was flying by !
I sure enjoyed the show and you were just as entertaining.
Glad to see others get excited as the mamoth beast blast past and break neck speeds.
Thanks for the share,Eric!
Not just the KCS engines I find most assuming. I find the speed of that train super impressive HOLY COW. This is the railroad I dream of working for.
His expression adds it all
How good was that!! Bloody awesome; thank you SO much for sharing that! Loved it.
Cheers me up everytime I watch this! 😊 Many Thanks 😊💖
You got GUSTO! The excitement is true to form. Cheers!
I saw a train up close for the first time on December 11th, 2020. Me, my dad, and my brother had walked from 4th Street all the way to the house where my mother grew up. We were going back to 4th Street after we crossed the tracks, a train was cruising down the tracks. We stood about 10 feet from it and the ground was rumbling. I've always loved trains, and steam engine locomotives have always been my favorite.
I really enjoy how much you enjoyed this
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING to see it running that FAST!
Train was comin’ through HOT. Spectacular catch!
Love this guy's enthusiasm
This is my favorite of your postings. I have been a train spotter since M&D gave me a toy train set for Christmas '65. I am now 61 and still love them, especially the whine of high speed trains. I haven't seen any of you videos lately. Praying that you are doing well.
Great video! Love the speed and the sound of the train.
Nice catch! That thing was pushing through!
I want someone to get as excited about me as this guy does this train
A co worker of mine just sent me this. Hahahaha. I love seeing you guys happy. At least someone enjoys our jobs because it sure ain’t us anymore.
I got excited seeing this thing approaching
Yes sir, good clip, I've watched it six times now
I wish I was standing in your spot right now
I love trains with SPEED
I watch just to hear your excitement lol. Fantastic
wow, what a sound
What a train! It's going as fast as over 100 mph! This is wonderful! Great shot!
Not quite that fast I don’t think they can go over 80
@@bnsfrailway1381 You sure?
@@4funJust4you Yes, they’re limited to 70 MPH. They go any faster the train automatically slows down.
70+ mph for sure with this - doing Super "C" speed!
i love the sound of the wheels singing
Awesome job and dang that train is flying
Eric, if there were words. You get me!
The definition of a hot shot.
My man was excited!!
If anything goes wrong at that speed it's called, 'CATASTROPHY!'
Lol
Whew that is some speed for freight!
Love the reaction
Thats awesome! Would love to see that in person.
Whoever the Engineer is Pop ain’t playing 💪🏾💪🏾🖤🖤
that initial sprinting sound @0:10 is so satisfying !
Cool video!
Holy s-it, that's phenomenal.
yay your back!!!!!!
That was impressive
When you can't help but to Woo Hoo at that thing flying 🤣
It look slow until it passed O_o that was a fast one wow !
Ns: we move cargo faster
BNSF: Up hold my red bull
Hold MY diesel fuel
Good clip thanks
Great video, bro!
Hell Yeah!!! I liked that.
Great locations brother!!!
Guy yelling about KCS. Hysterical!
Wow! Amazing! :) Very good video :)
Holly that thing is Hauling the Bass 👀 Fast i like seeing the Trains roll a little slower I got a couple train videos we're the DPU slowly glides by...
Great Video Allen D RDA N Scale
WOW! He was haulin!
GREAT CATCH.
Jesus that thing was smokin’.
Eric, the UP line from Kansas City to El Paso is so insanely fast through eastern New Mexico, you'd absolutely shytte yourself. Well faster than your 60mph choo choo. Probably in the 74~75 mph range. The doppler of the UP whistles is nearly shocking: very high pitched whine to a dull droan.
That train is really going really fast
70 mph means 112 km/h. Wow... As I know, there is no such a long and fast freight train in Europe. For example, in my country (Hungary) the longest train runs with 800 m. Great video!
Here in Czechia exists cargo trains capable of running 120 km/h (Metrans) but actually running over 100 km/h is considered as needlessly expensive.
American freight trains are absolute powerhouses
This is so cool!!!!!!!
Bad ass video bro!!
GREAT CATCH!!!!!!!!
Damn, that thing was hauling ass!
so much moment there. all those cargo cars at 70mph. man those engines had to work hard to get all this up to that speed
Nice fast catch.
That’s a BNSF Z9 probably doing max authorized speed which is “70 MPH”
Agreed. I think the locomotives are governed to 70 mph. I don’t think the engineer had them wound out that fast, but it’s definitely impressive.
Yep. I clocked a couple of those 3-unit wellcars (204' over couplers according to Gunderson) and it looks to be doing 103 ft/s, or 70 mph, dead on.
Back in the early 90's, if I recall, Santa Fe would run fast freights 79 MPH before Christmas. Since locomotives have event recorders, the engineer doesn't dare exceed speed limit. I used to go to Dallas City, Il to watch trains go through town doing 70 MPH.
@@polyrhythmia : Way back in the day AT&SF wanted to run flat out across Kansas all the way to Raton Pass in southern Colorado. The eastbound train could easily maintain speeds in access of 80 mph + as the terrain was downhill and with the prevailing winds. Westbound trains struggled to keep 65 mph - which is impressive, but not what the railroad was after as they wanted to cut the time from Chicago to LA.
Those road units have an overspeed which is a safety device that engages the brakes if the train exceeds 73-74 mph, before the interior cab cameras were installed engineers used to disable the safety device so that they could exceed that speed, its a federal violation but some employees rolled the dice,.and didi it anyway!!!
Thats the fastest I've ever seen Kansas city southern locomotives move 😂😂
...this is what happens when ya put 'em on BNSF... ... ...they go FASTER than they EVER gone before...
Gave me tears man
God damn what a rush
Nice bell on the railroad crossing
You have not lived a proper life until a train flies by you close, throttle fully open like this.
I was stopped at the tracks by one, even 20+ feet away from it was terrifying it must have been going 70+mph
Nice catch! I miss the days when the good old Southern Pacific would move trains so fast that they could have flown if they had wings.
NIce Catch!
JEEZO-WEEZO! A 100 second adrenaline dump. I think I may have hurt myself! :-/
I feel you, bro.
This is a real 70 mph train 😱
Awsome
We use to past these trains going 60 miles per hour back in the 1980s when the speed limit was 55. So I assume that they could only do 40 mph top. This was outside houston texas.
GEEEEEZ they are hauling ass!!!
Ain't NOTHING gonna stop _that_ train!
Wow, vertigo kicked in for a minute there.
That's a Nice Crossing to watch trains! I Drive out on the Bike now and check them out! :) He was Flyin!
I'd be afraid to be that close. :) Looks like he was hit by the bow wave of the lead locomotive. That was really neat, though!
Not that close.
The K5HL 😍
How do you measure the speed?
Das ist der Hammer 👹Love jou
That’s gotta be the longest train I’ve ever seen
O M G !
I wish my life was so boring that I could freak out over a train
Moving our economy for 170 years. BNSF the engine that connects us
Wow awesome train. Git r Done
Things youtube brings up. l'm not really a rail fan but yey that choo-choo sure was impressive.
The CZcams rabbit hole strikes again haha!!
Well if you'd like try and look up steam locomotive restorations I have to say restoring history like that is satisfying to see
They definitely got the good foot down!! First time I've seen one of vids captioned "75 mph" when it's actually Doin damn near 80 mph!!! That was cool as hell!!!!
Maximum BNSF system-wide freight speed is 70 mph. One thing that motivated me to buy a speed gun is all these CZcams videos with titles like this.
@@Prolificposter you bought a speed gun to call people out on you tube?
You just redefined the word "sad" !!!!
Over speed puts the train into a penalty brake application if it exceeds 72mph
@@Prolificposter These Yt guys love to title everything 70 mph.A train like that actually going 70, as close as he was, would make that guy drop his camera and wet his pants.
