The Lion King: Simba's Mighty Adventure - Level 5: Return of the King

- I reach the first of two boss battle levels in the game. Return of the King is an absolute deathtrap; there is very little refuge from danger and just when you manage to get some health, it is sapped soon after.
It took me a minute to realise what the trick was to defeating Scar; wait until he pounces at you, then move away from him and when he stops to shake his head, hit him. This is also the last level to be based on the events of the first film; after this, we plunge straight into Simba's Pride!
Unfortunately I had to cut this part short because it was going to overrun the 15-minute time limit. In case anyone is wondering, I did manage to unlock the level's movie and its Best Clearance came to 87%.

Why am I not surprised Jim Cummings voiced Scar here? It seems logical, given he finished the "Be Prepared" song in the original film after Jeremy Irons hurt his throat.
Cummings also did Scar in Simba's nightmare in Lion King 2.

Even in Disney Sorcerers Arena Game App, he is very difficult and I cant beat scar without one of my teammates dying and to progress you need to beat your opponent with all teammates alive, it just shows how powerful scar really is, that’s why he is my favourite Disney villain and probably my favourite Disney character
Our people, what childhood I had but as a child I played this game of The Lion King 1 and 2 many times and I will always do it because for me it was one of my favorite games on PlayStation 2.

Considering how much the original Sega/SNES version managed to avoid The Problem With Licensed Games, I'm amazed how something made almost ten years later suffered so badly from it.

Okay when you're fighting Scar it isn't fair that h can hit with his paws, but simba can't, and he takes more health from simba . Grrrr!
+LisaTigressHardy There are other moves though than just the roll. You can just straight jump on him, you can do a pounce move, and you can roar at him.
On my PS version you can only jump'pounce on and roll at him. The roar doesn't affect him.
