Hi! This tempo is not slow, it's just perfect. I love it! People usually take a much slower tempo, which I don't find good. In this case, it's great. Thank you!

Дирижёру и солистке вокалистке низкий поклон! Сочетание этих двух качеств в одном человеке - дирижёра и вокалиста в наше время - большая редкость.

Un violon au phrasé exceptionnel de pertinence et de sensibilité, qui semble devenu le sujet, servi par un contrepoint confié à la voix d'alto.
J'ai atteint assez gracieusement mes 88 ans.
Cependant, pensant a un futur - que j'espere encore un peu plus lointain - j'ai ajoute cette magnifique aria de Bach a la liste des musiques que je souhaiterais etre jouees durant mon service funebre. Mes proches, connaissant mon grand amour pour la musique classique, pourront ainsi un peu communier avec moi.

Oh, la voix sublime de Nathalie Stutzman merveilleusement accordée à l'archet si sensible de Satomi Watanabe qui s'exprime, elle aussi, avec son coeur vibrant à l'unisson de celui de Nathalie. Puisse-t-elle connaître une joie ineffable dans cet au-delà dont je me rapproche inexorablement.

Dear Total Baroque staff: when any channel post the Ebarme Dich, mein Gott!" aria; it is mandatory to give the proper credits to the violinist. And that is not done because just a yes. The aria is more a duetto than an aria. A fine example of this can be found in "Zefiro torna" from Monteverdi. A beautiful duetto that can be sang with a corneto. Also the virtuoso part of the violin is a strong argument in favor that the violin presence is not a because it is part of the tutti, but a solo part.

Du hast Recht! Diese beiden Stellen in der Violinstimme habe ich immer wieder isoliert angehört, weil es wunderschön ist, wie sie bis zur nächsten Note verzögert! You are right! I have listened to these two passages in the violin part again and again in isolation, because it is wonderful how she delays until the next note! Tu as raison! J’ai écouté ces deux passages de la partie de violon encore et encore isolément, parce que c’est merveilleux comme cela retarde jusqu’à la note suivante!

Zespół bardzo dobry. Solo skrzypiec super! Wokal niedobory, intonacyjnie nieczysto, barwa nieciekawa Szkoda, bo mogło być cudownie. Już druga nuta w wokalu zepsuta intonacyjne, dziwię się że wokalistka tego nie słyszy?
Nie bądź takim perfekcjonistą.
Tutaj przede wszystkim trzeba docenić wyraz artystyczny - a jest on głęboki, mimo pewnych usterek. Podziwiam Natalię, która od dyrygowania tak naturalnie przechodzi do śpiewania. To wszystko jest pięknie scalone. Wielki szacunek dla wszystkich wykonawców.
Pozdrawiam serdecznie!
Dla wielu, nieczystości intonacyjne są niedobre, a dla innych obojętnie.

Julia Hamari sings it straight, in a more classical than baroque style. Her voice is clearer and lighter than Natalie Stutzman who has a real contralto timbre that serves the text better.
