We Randomized Our Starters to Mega Pokemon but can't see them! Our Opponent is allowed to lie about 1 of the Mega Pokemon for us to choose! After our mon is selected, we will ask Chat GPT to give us 4 random moves and 1 random ability for that Mega Pokemon! Then we battle!

If I may suggest, maybe in the future, after you've pucked the pokemon, asks for 6 random abilities and 24 random moves, then assign them as you see fit. Keeps the randomness but adds some strategy. Would be fun to see you work out what to give to who.

it would help stop sturdy mega slowbro, but would also allow for a multiscale, ddance, thunder punch, shadow claw and ice fang Mega Rayquaza
Or, alternatively, get all of the move-sets and abilities _before_ they pick any of their starters, and "Bank" them, and then as they pick each starter, they can assign a move-set/ability combo (with each ability being locked to a specific move-set, such as Rayquaza's move-set being locked into also having the Levitate ability going with it) they got to that specific Pokemon. For instance, swapping Aggron & Rayquaza's move-sets & abilities so that both were more viable. This way it's still possible that you would be forced to end up with a bad Pokemon, but at least you would be able to pick _which_ Pokemon wound up being the sacrificial lamb, and you could make sure the rest of the team was actually viable.
But maybe as a twist, both players would _know_ what move-sets & abilities were "banked" by their opponent, and they could "steal" one of those move-sets and abilities for themselves at any point and force the opponent to take one of their bad move-set & ability combinations.

Possible modification of this challenge to make it more competitive, and possibly fair with abilities (sorry Tobin) pick your teams and have chat GPT give you 24 random moves and 6 random abilities, then build your teams using that info. Love the content!!
My thought was have it do it in sets still (4 moves and an ability all given together) but get to choose which mons get which sets
I’d limit it to 3 options for abilities and 10 random moves, just so that RNG can still be a dagger.

Next time you should tell chatgpt to give you movesets for the specific Pokemon. Like tell it "give me four moves/an ability for mega mewtwo-Y", maybe it'll ensure you get a little bit more consistency on your moves with their stats, or get more status moves more often on Pokemon that can better utilize them

EDIT: The prompt i found that works the best and allows chat GPT to be used to the fullest:
"Generate 3 random pokemon abilities and 10 random pokemon moves. Use those to create a build for mega Lucario. The build should only use 4 moves, 1 ability, and 1 item"

2T1L with Megas, and ChatGPT being the basis for the team-building portion; I never thought I'd see this combination, but I enjoy it
You know what would be fun, A set up where you tell two truths and a lie, then your opponent picks your starter, BUT you then take the ability from one of the starters that wasn't picked, and then the move pool from the other starter that wasn't picked.
Gives a degree of strategy about what to pick and lie about, but can also result in some really unique team builds.
Implementing GPT into a Pokemon challenge is awesome! I would love to see this idea again although revamped in some way.

Do a spin wheel with random mons then after you spin one you gotta go catch it and stick with whatever level and moves it knows when caught
Next time maybe you can choose how many status move you want for your pokemon, for example if it's a sort of sweeper you could ask for 3 damaging moves and 1 status move hoping it's dragon dance or screech or whatever to help you sweep and if it's a bulky Mon ask 3 status and one damaging move?

For you next chat gbt you should do it with the Pokémon’s bst and but it into random stats. Like for a more physical pokemon and chat gbt puts the majority of the physical stat into speed or something like that and same way with the speed stat

If you ever do one of these again, maybe to make it a little more competitive you could allow a reroll on useless abilities. I'd also roll the ability first then either ask for moves for the specific pokémon, or if you want a bit more randomness you could just say like "give me four physical attacks" or "give me two status moves and two special attacks" just so you don't end up with a useless Rayquaza or a Prankster mon with no status moves lol.
You can just roll 6 random abilities and give them to whichever Pokemon you want so that levitate would not go to a flying mon😊
maybe add the ability to re-roll some moves/abilities if you come back to this idea. that way you wouldn't have some redundancies
