INGREDIENTS
---------
Raw rice (പച്ചരി) - 1 cup (250 ml)
Jaggery (ശർക്കര) - 150 g
Water (വെള്ളം) - 6 tbsp
Small banana (ചെറുപഴം) - 2 nos
Green cardamom (ഏലക്ക)- 5 nos
Sugar (പഞ്ചസാര) - 1 tsp (optional)
Cumin seeds (ജീരകം) - a pinch
Dry ginger (ചുക്ക്) - a small piece
Ghee (നെയ്യ്) - 1 1/2 tbsp
Coconut slices (തേങ്ങാക്കൊത്ത്) - 3 tbsp
Black sesame seeds (എള്ള്) - 1 tsp
Salt (ഉപ്പ്) - a pinch
Coconut oil (വെളിച്ചെണ്ണ) - for deep fry

I made this yesterday...it was amazing...it was the first time I ever made unniyappam and it turned out to be perfect... thankyou so much...I always prefer to watch ur videos because they r not very lengthy and always to the point....
I don't understand malayalam but i got the recipe ❤️ in my childhood there was my neighbour used to make it and give it to me. today i am 30 and i finally find out how they were making it ❤️ i am going to make it soon. thanks 👍🏼

You can use the ice cream scoop and make it in the deep pan of oil. I am going to try your recipe when I get that sort of bananas.Looks delicious.

I made this yesterday as it looked yummy. I followed all the steps but when it came to eating it was a little hard to bite. How can we make it soft? I made it in the afternoon and served it at night few hours later (navaratri). Normally I just use flour for paniyaram and this was the first time I've made it this way. Do you have any tips?
