- In which the gentleman in question provides a treatise on that mythical bloodline known as the True Brujah.
Could this 'clan' be the real Clan Brujah, and if so, who are the usurpers posing as Brujah - Hry
I quite like the thought of a clan that is coldly waiting in the shadows, forgotten by everyone exept the oldest of vampires
I know this is superficial, but thank you for pronouncing Brujah properly.
I always do. Thanks for noticing!
+Aaron Levitz How do you know its right?
+Welther47 Because "Brujah" is the Spanish word for "witch" and is pronounced something like "brew hah" in the manner that TGG said it.
Jewbear1884
But the Brujah comes from carthage, right?
Welther47
Yeah, but that doesn't change that their name is still Brujah.
Blame White Wolf, they don't always work out names.
Have you ever me the Gangrel historian Becket? You two should meet and swap notes some time if you haven't
Your fraction of a smile really drove the point home sir... kinda' felt like someone was walking on my grave there at the end. You do have a talent for creeping me out with WoD source material. :D I used to like regular old Brujah, but now, I don't wanna be around when they get what's apparently coming to them.
...So, would you possibly consider them the Trujah?
Sorry not sorry.
Get out.
Please don’t.
You have been added to the book
As the childe of the clan, hold your slithering tongue, and cherish your nights. I will seek you out, kindred, if I must, if you choose to mock my noble bloodline
I see that bottle of Blue Moon behind you! ;)
Another awesome installment of an awesome series!
When True Brujah combine Temporis with Potence do they shout MUDA MUDA when punching their foes?
wow..just awesome..this was flawless clan guide video..many thanks
I echo Natural, your voice & manner of putting out information is always enjoyable to watch. Its great that you don't believe the TB or True Black Hand exist and yet are able to put out relevant info that at the very least indicates how the myth may have come to be. I also agree that if they exist or if they don't everyone in the WOD has more tangible issues to deal with instead of wasting time on phantoms. but something must have inspired the myth, if it isn't True Brujah than what is it?
Spot on. Great and informative.
Great video! Merry christmas!
Your Videos are inspiring!
As someone who attends a WoD based LARP these Vids are seriously useful info for some character goals
Thanks for saying so!
Well shit. It really is possible to create Dio in VtM.
(I know his powers have nothing to do with him being a Vampire but still...)
Sir Big or ringo roadagain
I remember in an old Chicago by Night book I had there was a True Brujah that played chess while manipulating events around him. I just remember that he was described as coming from the "older philosophically minded Brujah". I also remember wanting to play one real bad.
Great Xmas present Gent.
Thank you!
I want to play a true brujah with the "No reflection" flaw and the "Additional Discipline" merit for obtenibration and then pretend to be a lasombra.
Excellent idea! If you enjoy my work, please check out my current Kickstarter for They Came from Beyond the Grave!, an RPG of 1970s horror! kck.st/2OGbDvU
There are references to IIlyes( True Brujah Antediluvian" survival. He appears several times throughout history. It is known that he along with Tzimisce they are the only two antediluvians still alive in the 2050 Trinity timeline. What happened according to references is that IIlyes attempted to create an endless army of antediluvian foot solder army what he got was Troile after making a pact with Lilith in the future around the dark ages to fight Cain.
Thank you.
You, sir, are a storyteller par excellance. I've never roleplayed. What is a good way to start?
when troile diablorized his progenitor i think the rest of the "true brujah" frenzied and as the founder was dying used temporis and pulled the rest of the "true" clan elsewhere. this is speculation but the gehenna book makes some interesting points of the effects of losing a antediluvian.
on a side note i am thoroughly enjoying watching your videos in preparation for running a new chronicle. Thank you.
Thanks!
You are always well-spoken, however, the rhetoric you use to highlight the implausability of this bloodline is absolutely brilliant.
You seem pretty keen on denying their existence....
That's because they don't exist. Yet.
I used to like them due to their nobility and their declaration in being a peaceful to one another even to mortals themself in ancient time.
From good to chaotic rebellious assholes, no wonder every clan in modern times hate them.
And then Gehenna books showed them (and fans) a huge middle finger. So much for Ravnos and Tremere-Antitribu sharing similar faith.
A discussion on one of Lovecraft's stories would be interesting. In The Picture on the Wall the antagonist had an extended life span because he ate the flesh, stuff like that is scary but it can be excellent horror fiction.
Interestingly in the "Gehenna" book, the Antideluvian survived and interestingly hates both versions of the Brujah.
My pleasure.
Very good, very very good.
Cheers!
I love it.
One of the players in my Elders campaign is a True Brujah. Started in 1152 AD. It's currently 1870
I like it!
Good taste!
It's a good one!
Hey out of curiosity are you planning on making your way to the Werewolf camps or possibly even the Pariahs?
I know you haven't responded for some time to these comments, but I'm going to ask anyway:
Have you played Mage: The Awakening?
I contradict myself in the Nagaraja video. All my videos contradict one another.
Indeed.
I agree.
Time travelling kindred? I'm not sure how much I like that idea - to me, time travel always feels a bit 'bolted on' if it isn't one of the key aspects the lore. Still, great video none the less :).
Always.
Will you talk about the Najaraja?
"Let's entertain the notion that..." ;D
What is important is that there are no pants down there.
So True Brujah are Brujah Nictuku?
Beckett or Dr Aristotle deLaurent. My best guess from looking through kindred.
Many do.
How's he doing?
That's an interesting theory.
Me too!
And to you! Two months late!
And now you no longer have to!
I'll throw five in to our game!
As you would!
Humans can hardly know about the existence of monsters however humans will try to become complete or satisfied. They will pursue their lives but eventually fall victim to age and death. The monsters heal the mind, of the reader and bring peace.
I have done!
Ha! Blue Moon, my favorite beer.
What indeed... Maybe Caine himself.
I otherwise think Sir Gentleman its indeed a member of the Virtual Adepts
I am never sure if that is just a low cut jumper or TGG does these videos in his bathrobe.
You'd have to guess.
you get it, maybe better than I do.
I believe that's Critias.
If talking about imported beers I recommend "Club Colombia"
No, no, no. You should have posted this on *Xmas*. An opportunity missed. *sigh*
The whole 'masquerade' part of the WoD is what fails for me. But I do love your voice and obsession.
Could you please add some subtitles, it's a bit hard to understand what you're saying because of not a very high-quality micro.
Samedi video next!
Its both true that Troile deablerized IIyes and that IIyes survived by means of his mastery of Temporis.
It's funny, I was JUST going to request a video on the True Brujah..
Though in Deadlands, those born on Christmas has a higher tolerace when black magic is used against them. :)
In a way... Yes.
How presumptuous of the True Brujah to think that they won't be the first to be annihilated by the antediluvians. They'll be the first vampires the antediluvians see, if they intend to be there to give them this book of known vampires and their locations.
Arses, all.
I have to ask you this, you say that Ilyes, True Brujahs antediluvian, only sired on childe. Then could you tell me; Who is Anis, Belit-Sheri, and Joshua?
Because according to my sources, then they are all three children and sired of Ilyes, which means she has 4 children.
Also, you say that Troile should supposingly having diablerized Ilyes during the Carthage. That means war.
Well i doubt that Ilyes' children had been able to watch over her 24/7, which would have made Amaranth possible.
I was under the impression that the path of Golconda was developed by the Salubri?
Different Nod.
Do you believe in magic in a young girl's heart?
The Samedi have now been and gone.
Never!
Not if I'm not Camarilla.
Exactlu. As it should be.
Find a group!
read into it a little bit
Whoever it is telling us these bloodline stoies doesn't seem to believe in much. Maybe he'll start disbelieving in vampires altogether and promptly vanish in a puff of logic. In all seriousness, good video. So, what's left other then the one hundred and twenty eight Gangrel bloodlines?
book of nod?since when is command and conquer in vtm?lol
I have a question. Who is the Gentleman? Clearly he is an accomplished scholar of Cainite lore. Is he even a Kindred? Surely such a being cannot be one of the Kine. Whence by did he come to possess such intimate knowledge of the damned? Clearly, he has little regard for the Traditions; for airing such dark secrets in a public manner has undoubted earned him the title of Anathema.
Werewolves, maybe one day.
It is not that we didn't try to stop it... For we did, and failed. Instead remember that history is written by the victors. Retribution is coming to the kin slayers. We merely wait in introspection and plan, for the day in which We, The True Brujah, will take back our rightful lineage from these supposed revolutionaries, these... USURPERS.
Ha!
That sounds familiar.
Like everything in oWoD there are 5 conflicting myths for anything.
Hehehe.
For a bloodline of emotionless, fatalistic sociopaths, their plan regarding the Antediluvians is....pretty optimistic if you ask me.
Well, tbf, it kinda fits in with their Antediluvian's overarching theme- a dispassionate, nigh emotionless logician Embracing his killer out of love and passion. Cliched, but it fits
Good luck not being gutted by one. X-/
oh fuck, blue moon is great. although heinekin is still my favorite
Just a different use of celerity.
