Monster Western Washington Blacktail 2023

The "Redemption Buck" was one for the books for BCO member Doug Joyce. After a long deer season he was finally able to make it happen on a big beautiful blacktail buck late December in western Washington. The highs and the lows were unbelievable until you see the video!!!

Great job, Doug! I'm happy for you! I got back into hunting 3 or 4 years ago and have yet to get any deer or bear in this state. I always buy the deer , elk, bear, and cougar tags but have yet to fill them. I dont get a lot of opportunities to hunt, so when I do, it's mostly blacktail. They are the hardest species of deer to hunt in my experience/opinion. Wow! I'm so happy for you! So awesome!
I know my day is coming, and I have already made a plan to save all my vacation for hunting season . Congratulations brother!
