I grew up east coast hating Tupac but when I was in my late teens my buddy finally got me to listen to him and yeah they are both awesome. Biggie's flow is so smooth and easy to listen but Tupac's lyrisism and social awareness was out of this world.

THANK YOU. For doing dirty version. If you want to get your hands on a non-youtube dirty music vid dub or something, by all means. But if you have a choice between dirty and music video from vevo or some shit. It destroys the song man. Its not that you need curse words for a song. Its that you need the fucking syllable counts, sounds, and intontations/timings to not be affected. As for "lyric videos"
I warn you. Well more than half of fan made lyric videos I have seen are blatantly wrong. Your ears are better

His lyrics are still relevant and always will be because they were real as it gets. He is not a wordsmith like Eminem or have the flow of Snopp or Biggie. His substance makes him the GREATEST EVER. For aggressiveness; Made Niggaz, Troublesome 96, Hail Mary, Can't C Me, Ambitionz az a Ridah, Me and my Girlfriend, 2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted, Death Around the Corner...
For deeper songs and socially conscious songs; Do 4 Love, Dear Mama, Keep Ya Head Up, Changes, Brendas Got a Baby, Only God Can Judge Me, Letter to my Unborn, Unconditional Love, Pain, Smile, Lord Knows, Papaz Song, Me Against the World, Wonda Why They Call U Bytch...
Chill/Party/Fun songs: I Get Around, All Bout U, How Do You Want It, California Love, Picture Me Rollin', Toss It Up...
The list could be made alot longer, but this will suffice for now...
And regarding the whole "I like Biggie too"-thing. As long as you understand that Pac is the greatest, and easily the more versatile rapper among other things - it is acceptable to like Biggie... hahahha ;)

Biggie wouldn't even be on the map if it wasn't for Pac he took Biggie under his wing and let him rap at his shows on stage and Biggie didn't even recognize that pac did this and that shows me Biggies character and that he was ignorant and disrespectful. @TheMusiclovesex OH HELL YEAH! That's coming from an older former biker lady too! I am a Biggie fan to an extent THEN I got into Tupac later on. I've loved his music so much MORE because he truly is a poet and says a lot more within his lyrics than many else were back then and even to this day. I listen to EVERYTHING cuz i grew up in a musical family. My parents are 40 YRS OLDER than me. So my music tastes go from the extreme oldies of the 40s to my generation and the younger music of my nephews in their 20s. We also grew up with classical music in oir home cuz my 1 brother played classical guitar and my other played classical piano. 1 LOVED Tupac and began following his career AND life as well. I'M an international prisoner advocate for OVER 37 years. I'd advocated for his release when he was in the NYSDOCS. I'M actually a NYer~Brooklyn born and Long Island raised. So when this guy asks if you can be torn a little but between Tupac and Biggie...YEAH, I GET IT. I went thrigh those feelings for awhile but at the end of the day it was Tupacs music that won be over cuz it just encompassed so much more of LIFE in general. I also have to say that his Moms connection to the Black Panthers played a part in that. I've advocated for them also~the Angola Three were my second political prisoner case that I took on way back in the mid 1980s. I'M Native and a member of AIM...the American Indian Movement. The Black Panthers AND AIM HAVE ALWAYS supported each other for decades since the 1960s and 1970s in our fights for justice and equality against racism here. I'm not sure if you can understand this ciz SOME ppl can't BUT I hope you will. When you've got someone like him who waa raised around their values~THAT WILL ALWAYS make him "kin" in a way to me cuz of my heritage and our common struggles in history. He was born into the struggle like I was and our families have history. I only had the solidarity of location BY STATE to Biggie. PLUS I DO believe in my hear that he and Puffy had set him up with that shooting. AFTER THAT wsa when I stopped listening to anything that Biggie or Puff Daddy put out cuz as far as I'm concerned that's when THEY fucked up in my book. SORRY...BUT IM STRAIGHT UP NY! IF you wanba clip me~come and shoot me in the fucking face LIKE A MAN ya dig? THIS IS THE SAME message I'd sent out to the cousin of an MS13 dude who had pulled a drive by at my bar when he was trying to intimidate me yrs ago. I said tell him to come on in when I'm workng during my Monday night football night shift and shoot me in my face YOU PUSSY...or shit is coming YOUR WAY! He didn't show and 3 days later I had 5 of my buddies kick his ass and they toss him in my friend Cheryls bars dumpster! So that is how you learn here and YOU DON'T pull punkass shit like how Biggie and Puff Daddy pulled their shit IMO. So thars partially what solidified it for me to switch over to his side on this. ALSO I believe that Shug absolutely had something to do with his death. Otherwise WHY would he keep trying to push his narrative of how Tupac is somehow alive and in hiding after ALL these decades? That theory would only free HIM in the eyes of the public from any remaining ideas they might have of his culpability in Tupacs death right? Pretty convenient that really nobody else is going along with this gibberish so what does that tell you? I deal with every level of the system from my juveys to my folks on DEATH ROW. Both innocent people AND guilty ppl cuz I deal with human rights. Guilty ppl will try very hard to convince you of another alternative a lot of the time. That IS the pattern that Shug is using and thats how I know from over 3 decades in this business that he'd bs a guilty client. I'd bet anyone MY left kidney on this cuz I am that sure okay? Shug is what WE all call a Wanna Be OJ cuz that idiot had the balls to come out later with that stupidity sayijg IF I DID IT? I happen to know part of his first counsel team BTW. So please don't be fooled cuz in some way here Shug is complicit. I've dealt with clients with 5 BODIES under their belts who don't dare come up to me with anything close to these ridiculous stories. LOL! They've been honest enough with me to let me know where THE OTHER 3 ARE! Shugs story has changed a bunch of times so GTFOH bro. I got no respect for Puffy Daddy or P Diddler or whatever the hell he calls himself. LOL

I listened to strictly hip-hop growing up and I can't get into a lot of the newer stuff so I only listen to older music or nothing at all. It didn't make sense so I'm trying to get into new music from different genres but it's hard because every genre has sub categories and there is so much music out there from different types of artist and different eras that it feels impossible to know where to even start. His angriest recording. This came from deep in his gut. He had so much angst & in essence hatred towards the EC bc he felt ganged up on by an entire coast he actually loved! How could they turn their backs on him is what he thought, but Tupac ALWAYS had love from NYC and the whole EC & ALWAYS will!

Great reactions... love me some Tupac (and your Marshal Mathers LP reaction was excellent as well, and I usually can't make it through someone reacting to a full album). NOTE: I'm a mid-30's white guy whose loved rap most of his life... and has HATED country music. But if I had to give you a good smooth, country song to react to to get your started it would have to be "Tennessee Whiskey" by Chris Stapleton. Just my 2 cents. Keep up the great work!!!

Best of luck to you!
