1 Timothy 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; Una-una nga sa lahat ng mga bagay, ay iniaaral ko na manaing, manalangin, mamagitan, at magpasalamat na patungkol sa lahat ng mga tao;
1 Timothy 2:2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. Ang mga hari at ang lahat ng nangasa mataas na kalagayan; upang tayo'y mangabuhay na tahimik at payapa sa buong kabanalan at kahusayan.
1 Timothy 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Ito'y mabuti at nakalulugod sa paningin ng Dios na ating Tagapagligtas;
1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. Na siyang may ibig na ang lahat ng mga tao'y mangaligtas, at mangakaalam ng katotohanan.
