After 6 years of marriage and a beautiful daughter, forgiving my unfaithful, unbeliever husband, who never gave me anything but took from me my all, living each day just trying so hard to look better for him trying not to gain weight even after my baby working a 14 hour job each day, taking care of the baby, doing all the chores & fulfilling every responsibility, just thinking that by showing him Christ like love he'll change. It just got worse! Until he made it all about treating me and the baby this way coz of my Faith. I finally said enough! I asked him to leave and he was only too happy to, but in the past year God has Blessed me with my own property & a great school for my daughter & church for me... M actually helping other people & it's so rewarding & helping me heal! Life's not that bad after all! Only wish my parents were alive to witness this transformation in me....Nonetheless! In such cases the believing husband or wife is no longer bound to the other, for God has called you to live in peace.
The purpose of waiting these many years was to see if she will have a change of heart. Since it’s abundantly clear that she is not looking for restoration, i think it’s ok to move on.
In all of this protect your heart from any vindictive or vengeful desires. Forgive her and release her from your heart before you start any official procedure. You are doing this to protect yourself & to move on rather than to get back at her. Every time you feel the hurt or pain of the old come back, continue to surrender your heart to Jesus and receive healing immediately. Don’t carry any hurts into the next day otherwise it becomes bitterness of any sorts.

God hates divorce..... but do you think according to the biblical definition of how the husband is supposed to treat the family especially the wife treating her with kindness not being harsh with her as she is the weaker vessel, that it justifies you tolerating abuse. I pulled over on the side of the road and prayed to God for help. I felt the words “give it to me” at the time I thought God would right my marriage… but it ended in divorce. After time I realized what His promise was. I gave Him my trauma and He healed me. The Creator of the universe longs to be with His children. He waits for our call. God is so good.

@@sandiebeach0926 Hmm.. Had a breakthrough this year. Ex's house flooded. Three feet under water. Her boyfriend didn't show up. I cut a trip short with the kids to sand bag her house and dig her out. I did this because my kids have to live at her house. Her boyfriend # 3 (could be more I have no idea) did not show up to help her. I ended up taking the kids for 4 months. Helping her long the way. This was a huge step for us to have a functional relationship. After 6 years of raising our kids over texts, we actually talk pleasantly and do what's right for the kids. Gos tears us down at the right moments so we seek Him. Ex wife is still N "Agnostic" whatever that means. But this crisis opened up an opportunity for us to work together. Recently the ex lost her job, She actually attended our sons baptism! So who knows what will come from this crisis. Fun fact - the day she got a bonus from her job for 160K I promise you was the moment she decided to cheat and ditch her marriage. So.. I think God is working to reach her.

That is bartering your life for salvation and is a Satanic counterfeit gospel message.

@@hogansheroes2793 Oh you mean like Jesus' disciples gave up everything and gave their life to him? That's satanic somehow? no church is hardly teach this anymore so I'll let you know: you are not the Lord of your life. You either belong to the Lord Jesus Christ or you belong to save and it's obvious from your message who you have chosen. Being truly saved means Jesus is the first and most important thing in your life over friends over family over jobs over money over anything. Only He knows your future and every thought you will ever have and every decision you'll ever make. You don't. I was my own God for 53 years and I'll tell you I never had a moments peace. When it finally got so bad and I had no hope no one and nothing, I called on Jesus for his help and he was right there immediately. I knew who he was I didn't even have to ask even though I had blasting his name and made fun of Him my whole life. I was instantly filled with peace like I've never known, a love I have never felt more intensely but also his gentlel but authoritative nature. He immediately started turning everything around in my life because He and only He has that power. I actually feel very sorry for you because you have a spirit of antichrist, and you're eaten up with demons. When you get tired enough of this world beating you down, call on the Lord Jesus Christ. If and only if your heart is sincere in turning your life over to Him, He will be right there you will know when you have received His Holy Spirit. all these pathetic churches these days is predicted in the Bible teaching easy believism, sinner's prayer, just believe and confess with your mouth and you'll be saved, blah blah blah. None of that saves you. You have to really want it and dedicate yourself to Him. He took your punishment so that you have a choice because you belong in hell just like everybody else. Thinking you're good works will save you will definitely send you to hell no one's good, not one. Everything in your thought life counts as an action to God. I pray that this is a wake-up call for you either now or before you die because then it's too late you don't get to plead your case. It's a judgement, not a trial.

Chances are if you had stayed the verbal and emotional abuse would have gone to physical abuse next. The last person who can help someone leave that kind of behavior behind is the wife or husband to them. Behavior like being clear about their right to take a person for granted while offering subtle manipulations to control others. Or when committing adultery for real in their outward behavior too next.

I can relate to her life story. I too was 17 at the time when I became pregnant. He was very sweet when we were in Junior High School and started dating in the 9th grade. Then we continued dating through the 10th grade but once I became pregnant. He made a 160 degree turn and he started hitting me when our daughter was just a baby. Then I would leave him and I would go back to my parents house. He would always convince me to come to him and I would but was becoming very weary from all the verbal and physical abuse that was a none stop. He would verbally and physically abuse me all the time. He didn't like to hear my opinions. He would always yell and scream at me all the time. He would punch me on the face and slap me. He sat on my chest, grabbed both my wrist and began to punch me on the face. He would hit me on the head all the time. He would punch me on my arms all the time. He would threatened me with..."If you fall asleep I will punch on the head while sleeping, so don't fall asleep (B)" He would preach to me about God and he would use it to continue to verbally and physically abusing me. He always pretended to be nice to me and that he loved me but none of that was ever true. Because he is a lier, theaf, greedy, mean, cruel, and violent man. This is who he really is for the rest of his life.
He was so mean, so cruel, and so violent. I wanted to restore my marriage too buy he made me realize that he would never change. My ex-abuser husband, would ask me ..."What would you say if I told you that I had a son with another woman."? He asked me this question 3 times. Then in another occasion that I had to take him to the airport. He started telling me..."You always accuse me of having a son with another woman?" I would be like. ..what? I am not asking you anything and I am accusing you of anything. You are the one who asked me these questions in 3 different occasions? This is when I told him that he was crazy and I began to accept that he was never going to change. My ex-abuser never made me feel protected at all due to his abusive behavior. He would say.. "You are a typical Latina because Latinas love a man who abuses them." I do feel free from having to be an abusive relationship. I Love God and he is my first Love and for ever more from now on. My God Almighty my creator God who loves me.
I am going through a divorce and I know that this needs to happen in my life in order for me to be free.
My ex-abuser husband is the one who always wanted to hurt me. I do believe that wanted to continue to hurt me and I also know that God's Love is better than any man's love. Because men do not know how to love at all. I also know that God has a purpose for me in this life and I follow my God, my King, my Lord and Savior Jesus.

Women are certainly over-divorcing their husbands. That doesn’t mean there can’t be some exceptions, but 50% isn’t “some exceptions”, it’s become a common cultural phenomenon.

I am so thankful of how God communicates and gives us confirmation of our very own prayers when we need it most. 18:51 in your video, that hit me hard because I had a cycle of dating narcissistic men and I found God and this last relationship was even led more to God through that man and his family and I did put this man on a pedestal. I let his words effect my emotions, daily. Even when he would tell me if I could hear clearly or not from God. I was so emotionally drained and controlled and I was not even aware of it. (When you said God placed you in places where you are actually seen without expectations.) Hallelujah!! God showed me as my fiancé was sent to prison 3 years ago and I remained loyal, emotionally tied to him and his family- however I was fasting and praying and growing my relationship with God during the separation. God opened my eyes to a lot of areas I chose to always label as I deserved or second guess because I did not have a perfect past of my own. During the 3 years physically alone I prayed that God would prepare me to be a better wife and mother and I saw a dramatic change in my confidence, my dependence of another man’s approval fall away. I no longer felt the need to ask a man for assistance, ask family for anything but keep boundaries in place for myself. As I prayed God most definitely provided in every area of my life and I believe God uses the ones whom wholeheartedly trust in Him. Abruptly 2 months ago God closed the doors of that relationship and that toxic family tied to him. He uprooted me within 2 days and moved me to another state and I haven’t spoken to my fiancé since. We were together over 6 years and I can honestly say God heals every person differently; I was placed in isolation and as a single mother I call God my Abba father and husband. I am truly thankful we do not have to know the entire plans of our future but that God continues to turn everything that the enemy intended to use to harm us; around for our good and His glory! I pray to our Heavenly Father on every person whom may be going through a similar situation that all soul ties be renounced in the mighty name of Jesus and that you are able to place your burdens in His loving arms and simply trust IT IS SETTLED by his son’s blood being shed on the cross. May each person finding their true self worth see their value from our Lord’s perspective and never settle from another area of unsettled roots. May God continue to mend your hearts and place Godly friends and a genuine Kingdom spouse into your life for His glory in Jesus name Amen!!!

Many times of course divorce came to mind on both sides, and one thing we learned through out this journey is we would have never made it if Jesus wasn't the center of our marriage...It really takes two to tango. One thing I learned before you get married when you find someone is, make sure you meet their family to see what your getting yourself into.. we all have some type of dysfunction in our families... And don't ever blame yourself for your ex-spouse being unfaithful. Its something he struggle with not "you". For someone to go out of their marriage to find comfort elsewhere is plain oh "Selfish".. Powerful testimony! Glory to God for getting you through your trials and is still with you. I married my high school sweet heart and our relationship went downhill and on and off. I thought separation would help us but that’s when God started revealing to me what was going on that I was blinded by for so long. I would pray for his salvation and pray that what ever was in the dark would come to light and it did. I had to start over to with our son and it was a process cause I was with him since I was 13 and he was 15 and i officially had enough the year of 2019 our daughter was born. Glory to God that me and my children have been so free since then and blessed. We’ve been divorced 3/4 yrs now and we still praying for him. Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose. Amen!

Your story really resígnated with me. God has blocked men in my life because I used to use them to feel whole. But I’m whole know, I know he’s with me and working on me after an abusive relationship then being abandoned with 3 kids, I had to live with my kids in family member home in a bedroom. I been single healing for over 10 years. God always provided for me and kept me going and even after deep depression has healed me and blessed my.

    @80sGal88 Před rokem +10

Firstly, I just want to say God bless you and thank you so much for sharing your testimony.
I’m currently going through a divorce and have 3 children, 2 as a result of the marriage.
I can relate to your testimony from start to finish with a couple of differences.
Going through abuse as a child, having different family members and strangers entering in and out of my home from childhood into adulthood, and having an absentee dad, really shaped my perception of what love was.
I’ve always felt different growing up, and stood out even in school whether I was talked about or admired for my talents.
Church was in the picture, but it was casual.
We didn’t wholeheartedly practice what we heard consistently.
I’ve had many disappointments in relationships, and all the while, I had no idea how to tap into healing the trauma that I was carrying.
I just kept going and living life.
My marriage was a like a dream come true. We courted for 3 years, no sex, had premarital counseling, and he seemed to be on board with accepting my daughter who also had an absentee dad.
It was bliss for the first year until one day I picked up his phone. It was a message that indicated a hidden drug habit. I felt so betrayed because I wondered how he could have kept this hidden for so long. We courted long distance so that’s probably why I didn’t notice it. We casually smoked marijuana together which I no longer do now, but that was all I knew of.
Long story short, other issues arose, constant lies, stealing, money issues and the fear of not having enough of it, and being left alone to raise the kids while he went off to rehab or was put out the home.
I was suffering in silence. I had this idea that you don’t tell folks your business when you’re married.
I didn’t want to shame him. I never told his parents either. Well, what is hidden always comes to the light eventually. We tried counseling, prayer, coming up with our own plans to fix our marriage, but it was never consistent. I was depressed, and buried myself in raising the kids, school, and starting a business.
My mom resented him and his mother rejected me because she blindly took his side without considering what I had been going through.
Through it all though, the breakdown of my marriage has strengthened my relationship with the Lord like never before. I’m totally having to depend on Him and His guidance to take care of me and the children.
The love He has surrounded us with is beyond words! He has replaced beauty for ashes! Joy for mourning even in the low moments! I have so much to be grateful for.
Even through the rejection, hurt, and confusion, if we cling to the Lord, He will strengthen you in such a way that you can get through whatever you need to!
May the Lord continue to show Himself mighty in your lives and may you grow closer and stronger in your walk with Him.
God bless this channel as well💯🙏🏾🙌🏾❤️🌎

I have been through the same journey, in 2020 - to the point where I had to keep praying out loud, hearing that I am not enough or will never measure up, and He remind me of who I am, cause I need to know.
It has been 2 years and can agree with you, we are truly free once we admit that we have fault.
But I also know now that God had other plans for me as I wanted for myself and He has blessed me with so much more. But it took hard work and leaving the past, hurt, disappointment and rejection behind to become the woman He intended from the beginning.
I will pray for you and knowing that YOU are His Beloved,

Amen, God bless you Sister🙏💖My first husband broke my jaw and ribs, 2 very young children, then had a child a few years after with a man who promised we were getting married and going to have a life together then found out he was married and he disappeared, now years later my current husband just left 3 months ago out of nowhere and completely crushed me, 2 more very young children (2 years, and 9 month old)…I think he is definitely cheating, I have to keep reminding myself I have made it through worse, even when I feel like I can’t go on. My current husband and both ex’s are diagnosed sociopaths/psychopaths (ASPD)…I’m realizing through research the reasons I fall for the “love bombing” phase, and this has been a pattern throughout my life because of zero emotional connection with my mother. You really said it correctly when you said God has shown you that you can’t put your trust in man. I thought I was sent a new husband by God, but it was just deception and they were literally frauds. I had been completely single for many years so I thought I was being rewarded for not dating around and having hookups like everyone else I know, but rather being celibate. His ways are not our ways. Now I am focusing on my ministry, that my current estranged husband made me delete because he was very jealous, yes he was very emotionally abusive and accused me of cheating almost daily for 4 years. He was such a perfect gentleman at first, now that he’s gone everything has come to light, I got in touch with two of his exes and mothers of his children and they both told me he was physically abusive, used to choke and push them, drag them around the house by their arm, and extremely psychologically/emotionally abusive and unfaithful multiple times. I already knew he was in federal prison for five years for bank robbery, and went awol from the marine corp after less than a year. I should’ve known he had no concept of fidelity. Maybe TMI but just wanted to let you know your testimony has helped me, you are sooooo beautiful inside and out😍I will pray for you Sister, please pray for me and my children🙏💖ps I believe because I have seen, I died (NDE) and saw God and Jesus, I was not a believer when I died, you are so much more blessed for believing without seeing, it is ALL TRUE! Everything written in His Holy Word is True🥰🙏💖

He would tell me he wanted to get back together but every x we tried God would show me that he was not going to leave her. He’d never been abusive with me until at this point. I had God in my life and He’s the one who told me he was cheating. @Elisa Hernandez I ignored all the red flags too. I didn’t ask God if he was the man for me. We had an unhealthy relationship from the beginning. Creating a soul tie with someone really makes you feel like you can’t live without a person. It’s awful. My husband was in a full blown meth addiction 3 months into our marriage. We went through years of ups and downs. I had my daughter in 2020 and left my husband in 2021. It got to the point where it was dangerous. God never intended for me to be married to him. Leaving was the healthiest decision for me and for my daughter. I’ve been going through the divorce for over a year but God has provided absolutely everything I need. Thankyou for sharing sister what an amazing story, God has to be first and everything else will come in place honestly ive been the unfaithful hisband like ive been the awful dreaded husband/father and i know it but i truly just needed Jesus and thats where i am at the moment im back with him and im putting him before my wife and family. Honestly my wife has been trying for 18months to get me back until she let me go and just serve Jesus, and put him first, I tell when she did that, thats when i realized that needed God more than anything else. Im serving Him now, he's my All. Praise God.

Amen 🙏 I tried to watch this video a while back but was interupted and didn't finish it. For some reason I took it as I wasn't supposed to watch it...but then today I came across the channel again and I remembered this video and for some reason I didn't feel that strongly about not watching it so I did and I just started crying when He said what can you tell women who may be going through the divorce it was as if God spoke thru hear to reach me because my story is similar I forced and thought I was the only one who had control of my life and never gave God 1000% control and because of that I'm reaping what I sowed but so happy to know he reassured me speaking thru this woman for me to hear that he is with me thru the storms and has never left my side🤗

I feel EDIFIED by this testimony. Hearing this woman speak in complete sincerity and owning up to the things that she has done wrong and being vulnerable about her past. And also glorifying God because he is the one who heals her and has made her rich in love and grace. It really made me feel something good inside

The sad truth is trama. Living sinful hits harder due to experience of trama. It's the TRUTH. The devil is a LIAR. I went through it. I used to not love myself I felt I didn't matter, I was always struggling withy weight skinny, chubby, drugs, drinking, smoking etc but after The Lord changed me He started showing me His unconditional love and taught me that I'm me, there's noone like me, and He taught me to Love myself for who He sees me not others. Praise Jesus ❤️just remember your special and perfect in God's image and your beautiful in His creation and that there's NOONE LIKE YOU. Once you accept that and understand this, and don't go get validation from others on who you should be, you will love yourself like He loves you and that's what matters the most, JESUS and how He sees you. God is our Father He is all we need❤️🌻

You are strong because of Christ who lives in you. He will renew your strength and never forsake you. I understand the mind you are in right now, it hurts. But I promise when you give it to God…he will turn the bad for good.

This was a recent realization for me too coming from a verbally abusive home that people don’t yell at each other everyday or argue about something everyday. I’m going through proverbs learning all the wisdom I didn’t see. I feel so loved and realize I always had a loving father I just had to turn to him! ❤️
