You did a great job putting that rig together. I was just up there myself and it was truly fantastic. Also learned a lot more detail about the history. To me, visiting that area was like visiting a chunk of Alaska. So much wilderness.

Appreciate it! I've owned 60+ vehicles... and none has been as great! It just fun and works. That is a special area for sure... :)

The pole saw is smart, I often run to hard to reach overhanging trees even with a pop-up on a mid-size. Great videos!

Yep!! We've cut our way through many off road tracks. Just takes a bit of time but alway enhances the adventure!

You guys are awesome, it's great to watch your vids. I'm just starting to get into the overlanding adventure, turning 60 soon so no better time than now. Gonna order my 23 superduty tremor as soon as I can. Looking forward to the time when I can do some of the incredible stuff that you guys do. Happy trails.

Thanks!! Check out our truck order options: czcams.com/video/96dR1Zi3rqg/video.html
Might give you some ideas. You can build a SD more capable for less money than the Tremor model... Just something to play with! :)

@@TruckCamper Thanks so much for the advice and I think I am going to build one out. I have a 2015 F250SD with 4x4 and 6.7 diesel but I was just so fixed on getting something new that I didn't even think of building out what I already have. I start today on the research on what I want to do with my truck. Maybe someday our trails will cross and we can hang out on the trail.

Lolo Pass really gives a look at some fairly serious offroad characteristics of your rig strapping a Liberty- impressive!
It sure doesn't look as tippy as my old bigger monstrosity which provided too many puckered moments. Looking at the specs on the Liberty vs Laredo and it looks like a substatially lower CG for the Liberty- 24" vs 32"!
Are you still running the Geolander X-AT? 40psi/50?

Yep! The Liberty Camper has done great on many off road adventures (lots of old videos to browse through). We keep the COG (center of gravity) as low as possible... No roof AC, microwave, stove vent... etc. And we try to keep "lighter things" in the upper cabinets. Heavy items down low will help reduce the tippy feeling and removing the camper jacks. But there's no replacement for proper tuned suspension (see our truck build videos).
Yes still running the Geolandar X-AT tires (coming up on 3yrs and 30k miles). Off road we typically are 35 rear and 25 front and keep speed under 45 mph. On more extreme travel we will go lower but keep speed less than 20mph. You can damage the tires sidewall with heavy loads, low pressure and higher speeds. It's also very helpful to get a HD tire with 3 ply sidewall. Most MT tires are built this way and some "hybrid" tires like these.
