I also pause to reflect that the only reason I met him is because I had chosen the wrong path. I must also add this in conclusion. What happened to me was in itself inevitable. I unfortunately had no good role model in life. My father, being a very complicated man, didn't teach me the cold truths and values of life. I had to learn them the hard way. Luckily for me, it did not make me bitter and resentful. Ricky would be one of a few good men who came into my life and made a huge difference. I believe they were sent by the Almighty and is the main reason for my conviction of belief in the divine. When I look back now, almost an old man myself, I see the hand of God working his ways in my life.
