Rolls Royce is such a different way to drive, to appreciate the road! Take a silver glass of brandy whiskey at the rear place and youre the happiest man on earth!
Hey, thanks for you liked the video of my car. The car was imported from Florida to Norway in 2006. The car was bought new in New York, and was owned by a fashion company, called la Boutique. Good luck with getting a RR one day, these cars are fantastic to drive, and has the best quality.
I have a 1973 Shadow take "prudence" our every Sunday waft around the english countryside some poeple dont get "it" you do enjoy "it" ...........nothing else matches the experience once a week :-)
Thank you very much for your video. I enjoyed very much. This video is new version. I saw your old version too. Your country is Norway? I would like have RR someday like you. Thank you.
Thank you , nice video ,beautiful car. Does it need service other than regular ? is it breaking down at all ? Always wanted to have one , but been to scared
Thanks very much for this video. This is about the best video of a Shadow I have seen. You drive around a neighborhood that looks like a lot ot people's I'm sure so that we the viewer get a better sense of what driving this car ourselves would be like.
Hi, thanks for the comment. Engine and transmission have good quality, only need regular service that you can do yourself easily. Silver Shadow was switched to the GM400 transmission in 1968, before this there were some problems with the RR gearboxes. The hydraulic system is a complex system that can result in high costs. Aha, I thought it will be something with health and state, but better have asked! By us it´s Common Health Insurance. P.S-It´s funny" Doctor ,I need prescribe Rolls -Royce for health reason!" He,He,He P.P.S-Drive slow and carefully, pity to damage that beauty!!!
I like your taste in the colour choice. Caribbean Blue is arguably the best colour on this car in my opinion. Great car too. I was wondering how the road noise is inside the car?
Yes, this is a low price for such high quality car. It makes it possible to make an old dream to become true. Relatively affordable parts, but advanced technology makes this to a dream car for us that like advanced engineering.
Góðann daginn Jens , komdu sæll og blessaður. Tell me how is it to own a Rolls like this , is it very expensive or does it not brake down . Really like to own one , but scared to , because of reliability . Takk fyrir
Góður dagur, þakka þér fyrir kveðju þína :-) The quality is high, but with a complicated hydraulic brake/height control system. Service at the hydraulic system is expencive, but if you can fix yourself, the parts are relatively cheap. Recommend Silver Shadow later than 1969, RR start to use TH400 transmissions from GM, and the hydraulic system was modernized. Recommend this brilliant link: www.rrsilvershadow.com/EIndex.htm
220 horse power, I doubt that. this old lady have a chevy 400 cubic inch that Rolls Royce bored out to 411 cubic inch and at 28 horse power per liter. So at 411 cubic inches or 6.75 liter in old money that gives you 189 horse power.
Samurai Jack You no nothing about engines! A Ferrari Daytona has only 12 very small cylinders with 4.4 liters producing over 350 hp, and can be taken up to almost 400 hp. Some models are much smaller litre wise, with nearly the same hp. Engines with more litres, no matter what the make doesn't mean they can't have great horsepower!! I know, I have owned many Exotic cars!!
Holy hell!....you think dat it have one of dem Chevy engines in it.....dem Chevy engines only good for hillbilly pick-em up trucks!.....you know.....da ones with a 'Murican flag on the front seat, a gun rack in da back window' and a goddamn velvet framed print of Elvis Presley in the goddamn front seat!

yea, driving Rolls Royce is good for our health. Nice way to get less stress.
This was amazing... Such an amazing car.
I´m impressed! It´s not drive ,it´s flying on the Magic carpet!Doctors should prescribe Rolls-Royces instead of anti-stress pills!!
What a dream vehicle... thank you for sharing this :-)
