I’ve been doing this for 43 years.. it’s an unforgiving occupation if you don’t know exactly what you’re doing all the time.. there is no room for surprises.. a good die maker and press setting person doesn’t experience surprises..

@@pressndiestraining yes sir. Once we remove the die and dismantle the pierce punch, knockout and other parts of the male and female parts of the die. We will have to set it up again in the press to achieve exact dimensions of the part. How do we set the die align it then fasten it with Allen bolt.
Dear,
In each every standard die has a pinch plate and on the back of it there must be a back plate both are having dowels with Top plate or Bottom plate whatever, both plate also having punch cavity therefore we must fasten puch plate and back plate of it with top or bottom base plate along with punch inserted in them. Than assy other dismantle pats.
