I wish more of the “walk in” shops would come back. All these appointment only, 3-4 hour minimum shops are cool but sometimes you wake up and just want to get a random tattoo and I don’t want to wait a couple months to get it 😂😂

I'm so bummed they never did past 2 seasons of this show. Vice is stupid for not picking it back up. I've rewatched these SOOO many times! All are awesome but Mike's, Bert krak, Dan santoro, and Grimes are my favorites! There is such a lack of GOOD tattoo content online. Not stupid scripted drama filled reality shows.
YES! I just want good artists and the focus to be on the art. Sick of the drama or just inexperienced non-professionals posting bad habits and crap content with Amazon kits.
What's amazing is the way these tattoos still look so good even decades later. They look like they were done last week

I walked into Mike's shop with my dad when i was younger.....This is what inspired me to tattoo this childhood memory when we moved to California i always kept that in the back of my mind this fine line stuff is kool but that bold stuff from Brooklyn is the real stuff...i need to go back and thank mike for letting me stay while my dad got a tattoo and inspiring me

He's so awesome. If it were in my budget I'd fly from Portland, Oregon just to have him tattoo me. My 24 year old son is an amazing artist. I always hoped that he would want to become a tattoo artist but apparently it's not in his blood. It has to come within you or you can't be great.
Sometimes it just takes time. I've been encouraged to tattoo for the last 20 years (I'm now 40) and just now picked it up. I wasn't ready before then.
