Your information to time ratio is insane. Every word has value with no filler bs!! Thank you so much
So happy to hear that I try to condense it and cut down as much as I can so it’s not too long for everyone! It takes a lot of work but glad it’s noticed!
No fluff, direct quality info with multiple budget recommendations. Great video, man
"Cry once, buy once" - haha, love it. So true, too.

So much value! Thanks for sharing Austen. I also love my Sony A7SIII!
A7siii is one of the best cameras I love it! 🎉
Glad to see your channel still doing great! Are you still using your 4,6k bigger camera? What camera of the same kind would you suggest now? Ty!
What a great list, thanks for sahring! Might I ask what you think of 360 camera spinners for product filmmaking?
Agreed 100 percent. Bought the SmokeGenie last month and it's worth all of the money!
Your biggest supporter from Poland! 🔥
I love my smoke genie it is so legit and powerful for the size!
Great vid! Got my sub.
Buy once, cry once is the way to go. Great list Austen! Is it Christmas yet? ☺
Haha it is if you buy off my gear guide!!
Honestly I haven’t used this motto too much but will say for future proofing and longevity of the gear I most commonly use and am so glad I have, I can say, have been based around this motto.
@@B-Moye it’s something I learned the hard way too many times having to buy and rebuy gear
Great list man!
Greetings from Uruguay!
Thank you so much and greetings thank you for watching!!
Thank you for the amazing video, so much great info! Do you have any experience with the Manfrotto MVK502AH fluid head btw? Just wondering how it stacks up against the IFOOTAGE K5 since it's also recommended by many. Much appreciated :)
Austen always delivering crazy value. 🔥
So glad this helps you thank you for watching!!
@@AustenPaul absolutely. Also wondering if you plan to cover more of the business aspect on the channel?
@@jaydenwilson2969 maybe one day I like to keep things light it’s easier for me to be creative
You are such a badass, my dude. What a service you're doing for creatives. I might even say... I love you bro. Yep I said it. No take backs
Haha I appreciate the love!!
Thank you for the video, new sub here! Bro, what camera do u suggest even cheaper? Like, something between 1k - 2k USD? Appreciate!
My camera is a BlackMagic 6k withou AF...you think it's better start looking for change to Canon Mirrorless one??
My sensation is that I can only do a camera static shoots..only moving the object or other
I noticed in some videos you use the Rhino slider, and some recent ones the edelkrone; which do you recommend?
Really helpful video Austen. Quick question regarding the cheap turntable option. Your earlier gear list (as well as a video you made last year) shows you recommend the ComXim turntable however in this video you show the Jayegt turntable. Is the ComXim (for $35 more) the better option or does the Jayegt do the job just as well? Thanks so much again for sharing your wisdom.
So glad you enjoyed the tutorial, and this one works the same just cheaper for you!
I'm in the market for another light. I was looking into the Aputure 300DII, but I noticed you didn't recommend it in this video. Are the Nanlite and Godox better options?
Saludos desde Ecuador!!!
🙏🙏🙏
Great
Your stuff is always golden, Austen! btw, any tutorial on that insane macro shot? If not, can you make one!!?
Thanks man and maybe I can show how I did that!
@@AustenPaul You're a king!
How do you feel about the Sony FX3?
I guess that probe lens 24 mm is also a game changer in product filmmaking
Austen, are subtitles avaible. Product video course?
You have been my favorite creater since the beginning. How did you maintain focus from the whole mango to the water drop on a mango surface at 2:23 mango scene? Did you leave it on Autofocus?
Yes on single point auto focus and proper lighting you can do some wild stuff !!
I'm surprised you chose the Cannon R5 over the Ursa G2. Why so? I have the Ursa. It's a beast!
your link for the gear is broken
Austen if I shot a Liquid Death commercial in my basement would you tell me what you honestly think of it?
Hello, I'm Andreas from Flamingshotz, I've been making films for two years and had to try and test a lot, I use the Nikon Z6 and want to buy a new camera, I'm not sure whether I'll buy the Z9 or a Canon that you use. Edelkrone is very helpful for product videos
I would say canon but I have never used nikon
Hey man, what macro lens do you recommend for an apsc camera like the sony fx30 for product videos?
Sigma 90mm Macro is solid!
There are a lot of people on youtube that give advice about filmmaking from short films, commercials To just filming a youtube video... You're the only person I actually believe. Because you can show your work And you don't come off as a cocky dick like a lot of people do.... Thank you is when i'm trying to get at
Thank you!
🎥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Woot woot!!
Hi Austen,
This video is more worth for beginners like us. First of all thank you so much....
Austen, I have seen that you use Blackmagic ursa g2. I guess, you use this for slow motion shots. Instead of using URSA, If I use Canon R5 with Canon or Sony GM macro lenses, can I get the same slow motion quality ? not 100% but at leaset for some far better quality. To be honest, still I do not have budget to buy a URSA G2.
If not, could you please share with me what should I need to do, to get a better slowmotion closeups only using Canon R5.
Hope you get my point. Sorry for long words.
Could you please share your guidance . Thank you...
Hi so the R5 is great but only gives you 120 frames while the ursa gives you 300 frames so more then double slower motion. That is the biggest difference!
@@AustenPaul Hi Austen, Thanks for your prompt reply and guidance. Thanks....🤗
Great info man! What camera do you recommend for liquid slow-mo or any other fast moving shots? Is 300 fps good enough? or you need to go 1000fps?
I use the ursa pro g2 at 300 frames and it still works well!
Thank you!@@AustenPaul
Y el PC?
3:55 how you remove the stick ?
Simple wire removal in after effects
200k only with product videos or also with courses and placements 🤔
Only with product videos
@@AustenPaul One does not live badly 😉👌🏻
Welcome Back... hahhahaha
Minimal but expensive
I would disagree that this is a good time to get into product filmmaking. 3d animation is taking over
Idk if you're inexperienced or just lack basic understanding of a field...
Absolute garbage
