I’m so glad you mentioned primer!!!! I’ve been lashing for a year and I do not prime either! Adhesive sticks best to moist natural lashes and primer dehydrates the lashes. I’ve gotten my best retention by ditching the primer and just washing the lashes instead. I work in a salon, and my coworkers all prime 😢
The only time I like to prime is when there are really oily! I have a handful of oily girls and if I don’t the lash won’t even stick. And my glue wasn’t dry yet so I use primer for them!
I live in the south and I noticed that when I stopped using my humidifier my sets lasted much much longer … my room is always about 75 degrees and I try to keep my humidity in the room at no more than 65% & my sets last a loooooong time!! I also don’t prime or use a nano mister at the end but I do use a bonder at the end

Do you recommend buying the veyes glue from the website or is Amazon okay? I tried buying it from Amazon but noticed that it started getting a bit stringy at 2 weeks after using it. Nonetheless, I still love this glue and I’m willing to purchase straight from their website if that’s better
I actually got a “DUD” with the same veyes glue you use this past month lololol. I noticed it because when I disposed it on my glue ring the glue was very stringy like… and so I took the glue and did the water test! The glue immediately spread out- tiktok showed me how to test if the glue is good or bad lol. But anyways I email veyes and I got a new one sent! Hopefully this one works out. I wanna give them a try🤍
My glue wasn’t in the mail box long - I just automatically think it was a bad batch.. or “old glue” .. they said it was due to travel temperature of the package.. regardless I only had it and I’m use for like a week.
