They need to add a way that let us know we have added the character sound resonance/elemental skill on the npc like in genshin if you use hydro skill you'll see at the top that you did but not in this game

The atmosphere of post-apocalypse is really great as always, Kuro!!!!
You can tell it's a beta the trees, environment, buildings and trees need a tiny bit more texture, but still pretty good, kudos to kuro.
There also seems to be a lot of pop in with the assets and shadows just visibly appearing and disappearing
Looking forward to seeing how they improve in the future. It's not perfect but there is so much potential
Something's missing about the buildings; feel like it needs some sort of texture, but then again, it's a WIP area in this CBT version of the game. So, I hope they do what's necessary. And we haven't seen rain in any of the areas, did we? I hope they add that too.

Id like all sorts of weather tbh but maybe more extreme things like snow will be for specific areas but I still hope its an option.
Same, it needs better lighting too. The world is nice but it feels flat and dead.
The thing that holds weight over genshin (as a genshin player) is the movement and combat. I can confidently say that the elemental chains are the strength of genshin rather then the look and feel of the attack actions of the characters. In waves, rather then being burdened with the task of relying solely on elemental reactions to deal significant damage, you attack faster, dodging is rewarded, the abilities for each class look amazing and are most likely very useful in terms of utility or damage.
Not like genshin's character skills have an issue with that, it just looks cooler here
My #1 priorities of this game are exploration and story, and only after that does combat come into play. It is an open-world game after all. I just hope it has an interesting story and exploration to beautiful or mesmerizing places. This has potential so far and the music is gorgeous.
Looking great, reminds me of some areas in early versions of ToF but with better atmosphere which I enjoyed exploring.

ToF is trash in terms of optimization and that neverending server lags😢

I have always wondered why all open worlds have fantasy ancient lands yet but no modern ruined buildings and landscape and Kuro fulfilled my wish.
Horizon is an open-world game in post-apocalyptic world
There are quite a few but they're mostly not cel shaded anime-style open-world.

Enemy AI needs help badly, the UI for the player needs a big overhaul, and a bunch of little things about player-world interaction needs polishing badly, but it looks like a fun game overall. I'll probably wait for the game to be 1+ year into its lifespan to get all its kinks worked out, and for the studio to understand what the game's direction needs to be, but it looks promising.

I just hope they will fix the late pop-ins considering texture especially I noticed on those huge mushrooms growing an the side of buildings.

Yeah, it makes sense that dense cities would require more detail than say fields or forests where a lot of textures can be repeated. It'll be fun to compare the final result!
I love the verticality of the area
i love what i am seeing. but i like it if they added some icons in the minimap and/or map to see near by loot and gatherables.
Also some where to see how much loot left in that specific region something similar to TOF.
still miss this color scheme, release version is beautifull but the feeling of post apo is gone
Quite reminiscent of the city ruins from Nier Automata but with more verticality. I really dig it.
The regular running looks like it can use some touch ups 🤔 hopefully it looks better on global release
For me it was the sprinting animation kinda to fast
One thing I like that they do is when they stop running walking or jogging, at the end of the animation one foot steps back then forward

I kinda think the running normally needs some fixing? They are like stiff with arm and posture,Pgr characters have some nice running.
Hopefully they will add more open world events like skyrim with the giant or like npc quest in eldenring.
Also less boring puzzle and UI costumazation, more immersion.

The textures are pretty low res for a pc version, hope they upscale it for pc before launch.
A lot of mechanics and exploration are inspired by Genshin, and the open world aesthetic by NieR, and tbh I LOVE IT 😍

@@HaikussO7 Iam a whale in pgr and experienced ww. So I already know kuro. The game cores of ww and genshin are different. WW is more similar to PGR, the only difference is air Combat. So it wouldn't be right to call it genshin killer. Because I don't think a player who doesn't like hack n slash gameplay will have fun in WW

@@whenwilllifeend means it's in the very early stage of making the game, that's why it's a "Beta", the aim of CBT is for them to monitor the play experience of participants and identify any potential issues, and then address them in order to improve the quality of the game.
that's why you can't complain yet and you can expect more on the official release

Its the same, what can you expect from "better" if i may know? Beside co-op with your friend to explore and fight bosses? PvP? (Its not a competitive game)

Yeah you can change world difficulty if it becomes too hard. There is a 24hr cool down tho

I believe so, the final release don't have any area that look like this one. The only area that I think look kinda similar is Port City of Guixu, but that just my speculation. Edited: so the video did show the map and it's right next to the Tiger's Maw Mine, in the final it nothing, just a grassy area with a building that has a beacon.
Please include end game content, hard bosses that do not have at least fucking 1min downtime when stunned, story gameplay that associated with the open world and not navigating around a city to talk x person and making game harder that rely on skills instead of items like artifact. All these qualities are genshin lack of.

The world is not without details but like many said, it looked bland or dead(sorry to say, just similar to nier automata in this case lol). Hopefully environmental lighting or mood is added when it is finally released.
Ah... I think I found a better way to describe this. As it is now as seen in the video, the world looked like a huge simulated environment in a huge testing cavern, rather than looking like a real world.
