4079 Pendennis Castle Return to steam Relaunch at The Didcot Railway Center 22/4/22

Hi all Here is a very Special video I have for you all back;in 2nd April of 2022, I went to a very special advent that took place at The Didcot Railway Center , I saw a very very special Steam Locomotive GWR Castle Class 4079 PENDENNIS CASTLE Returning to Steam after a 20 years of Getting the Locomotive back from Australia were it went was sent over in 1965 and been over there for 40 years down under and now overhaul of the whole locomotive here’s the History of the Locomotive in

Hey Jack. When did she go out of service? She was at Epping in June last year. Or do you just mean 1st steam of 2024?

Hi buddy She went out of service in 1964 but her last shed Was St Phillips Marsh November 1963
