Machico Beach, Madeira - Drone View

The Government has invested 3 million Euros to import smooth golden sand from Western Sahara in North Africa to provide a luxuriously soft beach for local people and tourists to soak up Madeira's sun.
This beach is about 125 metres in length and 70 wide; its quality has been approved and checked, adding value to the town and a new, comfortable environment for beach goers.

Did you get a permission to fly in a CTR zone or it wasn't necessary?

Yes, my flight was controlled by 2 policemen.

Did you ask someone in advance or you just found a policeman on site and asked him for support? Great footage btw ;)

Yes, that's my gold rule. Before any flight in Europe in city area I am looking for a policeman, asking him if I can fly or not and then flying under his control eye if he agreed.

@@LevVakulin but the policeman dont haver permission to allow fly on CTR, you have to call to airport tower and get permission. its easy and 100% safer then policeman. some police dont even know the laws of flying a drone. great video by the way. have nice fly
