Rain gutter - cut to aprox 6-8 feet
PVC pipe cutter (amzn.to/2EPIKw0)
1” thick PVC pipe - Approx 12” long for bottom, and 48” long for top
(4) ¾” PVC pieces - each 1” long
(4) ¾” PVC pieces - each 6” long
(2) Straight connectors for 1” PVC (we used tee connectors)

same, i live in india and at the most we go and ring housebells( i live in an apartment) so i cant do any of this :(
This is a really cool way to resolve the problem of answering door and touching door bells. Please also everyone let’s just encourage our children to not crowd and wear masks. This one the big concerns is people crowding and not maintaining social distancing. I plan on putting out a hand sanitization station for trick or treaters as well.

We’re not passing out candy this year; while these are great in theory, in practice we just don’t want to risk contributing to the spread. Kids aren’t great listeners. Instead, we’re just going to drop off little bags of candy to all of the neighborhood kids.
We usually don't pass out candy since it is usually just my daughter and I. We mainly go to my mom's neighborhood anyway, but since my parents are out of town. We may just stay in and watch a movie

I just want to point out that I recommend not going trick or treating, because there’s always people who don’t really social distance, plus you’re touching the buckets and stuff that has been touched by a lot of other people. Happy spooky season! :)

Near idea. I live in apartment so I don’t have much space to do something like this. I’m hoping all the kids will wear masks. I’ll wear one too of course. I got themed zip lock bags from dollar tree, and I’m going to fill them like a week before Halloween. I’ll put a note in each one saying when it was filled so parents know the candy itself is germ free. No germy candy bowl this year

If any parents are out there and want to show your kiddos some classic Halloween films, some good ones are
•nightmare before Christmas
-an adorable sweet and heartfelt movie to watch with your 5+ year olds
-and it’s also amazing to see how it was made.
•hocus pocus
-funny and entertaining to watch with 6+ year olds. No really scary scenes.
- a few suggestive jokes about loosing your virginity and such but very discrete. So as long as you’re a-okay with that, it’s a great movie for kids.
•(maybe) Coraline
-the end can be terrifying to really little kids sometimes so I’d definitely suggest showing it to kids over the age of five or six depending on how easily your child gets scared.
-once again, very interesting to see how it was made.
•The Corpse Bride.
-basically the same as Nighmare Before Christmas. Very heartfelt and sweet.
