Wow, these mics really do pick up everything but your thoughts. I feel like I've been blessed with superhuman hearing. I also love rambles and always enjoy hearing Pickle Thoughts, but who actually would complain that you blink "too much"? How much or little you blink has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the video.

What I love about all of your videos is there's a sense of I guess intimacy? Not necessarily sexual in nature, it just feels like you're actually there. I think it has to do with the way you balance the bass.

@@gustavodeharo I've always been less than half a mile from train tracks in every place I've lived, except two out of state. I've lived in over 10 places, so those odds are fairly high. Trains now soothe me to sleep, especially when they pass by during the night. I also love ASMR vids like White Rabbit for example that simulate riding on a train.

The amount of focus and dedication it must take to not:
-sneeze
-hold in a sneeze
-cough
-hold in a cough
-think about sneezing or coughing and somehow make a loud noise because of these ridiculous mics
-laugh
-giggle
-chuckle
-guffaw
-breathe too loud and jumpscare us
-make a noise to loud and jumpscare us
-suppress the sounds of traffic, trains, planes, people walking on the sidewalk, people breathing on the sidewalk, car exhaust, the whistling of a planes wings, the people in a train talking
-scream in frustration because it seems superhuman to do this in front of a camera for more than 30 seconds.
In other words, these mics are LUDICROUSLY good at picking up sound, and you are LUDICROUSLY good at not jumpscaring us because of it.

I've always wondered the same thing lol. A mic is just as sensitive as it is. You can't change it. All you can do is dump a load of gain on it but that just makes everything louder and if you're right next to the mic the low frequencies will boom.... Plus isn't the goal of asmr an intimate sound with maximal stereo field? If you crank the gain you pick up more background noise and if you're using 2 mics to mimic ears the cones will bleed into one another making the stereo less effective

1:20 I do amateur sound engineering. Iâm certain they mean enhancing the bassy and more âtinglyâ high end frequencies by increasing the eq bands. Thereâs a few great tricks you can do with basic post production skills Iâm sure you know đđ»

so many asmr search terms are just clickbaity words! 100% sensitivity, 8d, fast/aggressive, binaural, left/right ear only, for adhd (good in concept dont get me wrong, but sometimes there's little thought given to what actually makes it asmr for adhd/insert ND here)
Not to sound overly complainy or exclusionary by any means, but it's always a little annoying for consumers of these vids to search out technical terms and just find normal asmr videos with the new Algorithm Word slapped in the title, yknow?
(some of the best asmr for adhd vids are the ones that FastAsmr makes, subscribers with adhd were polled on what they preferred before the videos!)
