i wanted to share just one more acoustic track with you . its a song called golden leaves .
we filmed it at linear studios in sydney which is where we recorded the entire album .

You’re not alone.
This is my favourite side of Passenger; just him and his guitar. He's so talented, he really doesn't need anything else, and songs like this, with just a guitar, are the songs which are the most raw, and make you feel the most. I love the way this man can put feelings into words and guitar chords, and create masterpieces.
+Gina Mann Ditto Gina..TOTALLY AGREE...i was bought ALL THE LITTLE LIGHTS album for a Xmas pressie...it came with a free seven-track acoustic album...it took me four days to wrench myself away from that acoustic album before i even got anywhere near to opening the main album. You are, without doubt spot on.
I know you are probably as hooked on mostly Passenger(i know i am), but if you like or love acoustic artists to the degree that your comment screams out, if you could find about ten minutes of "chilling time", could you give a quick listen and opinion on an artist being developed by a company called SONIC FOXX....my little dot of a company who loves the "guitar/vocal, nowhere to hide, encourages talented individuals and allows them time to develop", please google JASMINE LAMPORT....here at SONIC FOXX RECORDS we are predicting her to do really well...she just walked into a studio one day with a random comment like "i think i might be a good singer"....three songs later and....WELL..YOU DECIDE Gina...if you don't like her..no probs.

Passenger, in a rare way, you connect directly to the soul (that would be x millions of souls!) with this gem Golden Leaves, and also again with the deep insights found in Circles, in All The Little Lights, in Life's For The Living, et al... It's quite stirring as well for all of us to be connected this way.
When he sighed its like all the built up emotion inside finally was relieved by the song.

We had a gingko tree in front of our house. The beautiful leaves turned golden in early fall and would blow into our back yard. I have a few pressed between the pages of an old book in my little library.
Mike, this is one of the most beautiful and inspiring songs I've ever heard. Between this version and the quartet one, I've listened to this song about 35 times on the past 4 days and I'm still not tired of it, not even a smidge. I can't decide which version I like best. He dont want to sell his soul. He want to make music from his heart like the song "27". And with over 2 million subs, he definitely famous by hís real talent not by commercial
NO...WRONG...a. He is commercial....there are adverts on his songs....b. He co-writes his material, leaving him in a position where he doesn't have to have folk write songs for him(other than his co-writer...one talented dude by my reckoning)...a strong position to be in....it makes him INDEPENDENT....and it took him a while to get there....RESPECT TO HIM FOR THAT..Mike also gave up a Bar job and focused on the one thing which really mattered...SONGCRAFT.....FACT...he talked about it in a video interview...and said, the moment he was able to get away from the shackles of a regular job...and he could focus with his co-writer and be productive...hence success.
There has to be a lesson in that.

My husband and I found this song during some of the hardest times we ever faced. That "sometimes..." kept us clinging on until he couldn't anymore. We lost him to suicide in 2016. Please, cling to hope. Cling to sometimes. 💙

This song touches me so much. The first time I heard it, I nearly cried. Especially the version with the strings. It lulls me to sleep at times, even helps me cope when I'm really sad so I can have a good cry and get on with my day.
