Just wanted to say thank you - I watched this video as a refresher on the way to a blackjack tournament tonight - won 15k as the tourn winner
How does a blackjack tournament work when it's players vs dealer?
Holy crap, that's the best video and the easiest to explain the basic strategy for me at least. Bravo Guys
Love the money management system that was displayed and the basic blackjack system strategy. Also, that jazz music was wonderful and very relaxing. I'm glad you and your invisible girlfriend could stay awake for the session and it's very hard with that type of music being played at that time of evening, even though the music is extremely relaxing.
I learned basic strategy today, and played a 90minute blackjack game (not for money) online and this is soo entertaining to practice, hope i stumble across more
There was a series of small books sold in Vegas called "Playing to Win" on the major games. This progression is exactly what the author suggested. Buy in is 40 times the table minimum. Every time you lose you go back to the base bet of two units. If you lose four in a row, walk away. If you lose or win half of your buy in, walk away. I've been playing this way for years. Got the cheat card memorized.
40 times buy iun ok intresting i just like have 3500 bet 25 double double bet tell when 9n hands is 3500 lol hardly happens but does but my rull is 25 hand 250 buy n in double bet if loose play by book and win or loose no mater never no hope this math work for me lol can i say that
That sounds like some solid advice. I used to try to double my buy in, most of the time did go up by half but rarely could double. In the end I would walk away fatigued from sitting at the table too long or broke because I lost my buy in. Appreciate your input!!
đ
Exactly, been winning more than not for 40yrs. The only other thing I do is start lowering my bet ny one unit after 5 wins in a row. Rarely do you win 6, 7 or 8 bets in a row
Dock out of Timmyâs pay. Lmao!! Thanks guys this is great. Iâm in dealer school in kcmo ! Loving it
I went to Vegas for the first time a couple months ago and didnât know much about gambling, but gradually picked up the very basics. It was like $15 bets on the strip of Vegas, was told by many Uber drivers to go to Fremont street (downtown Vegas) and I found a casino with $5 tables which I absolutely loved. I did better at the $5 tables than $10-$15 tables. Now Iâm here watching videos on CZcams and will probably do a lot better @ playing the next time I go back to Vegas!
Good luck! --Mari
donât be fooled. You wonât ever do better at these tables. The games are rigged. They are designed to favor the house at any time. You might have the sensation of winning a couple of times, but over time you are guaranteed to lose money in a casino.
That is unles you count cards⊠if you actually manage to do that perfectly, you are guaranteed to win money at Blackjack tables over a long period of time.
Excellent course.
Will rock up @ the many Casinos here N Australia.
Expertise is my Forte!
Hey thank you guys for this video:), Iâm starting a black jack dealing gig at a casino that does private gigs for NFL teams and stuff so I gotta get my game tight, I literally have no experience so these videos are gonna help a lot ! And donât worry about what these people say on here , theyâre just hatin on your mad skills bro! Keep it up
Nice Video- I was thinking I enjoyed the dealer working so fast, and then laughed when he said he was going slow. I'd hate to see fast! lol
Hard Rock Casino in Tampa $25 minimum for blackjack. During the day at the $15 minimum. Those are the smallest minimums in the casino
Please go to 3:30. Not sure if doubling on Ace and 7 is allowed on your board, but as per basic strategy, he should have doubled on that against a 2. If he did, he would have hit blackjack winning three times the money he put (5 bucks - he would have to double twice hitting blackjack - 15 bucks bet win)...
Caught that too. Not so perfect after all
Thank you for sharing this strategy with us. I tried it for the first time tonight. I bought in for $300 and I won $118 after one shoe was completed. I cashed out afterwards.
Great explanation and walk through
I really appreciate these videos. I live in Kentucky, so Vegas seems like a world away. But these videos inspire me to explore casino jobs when I graduate college. Keep up the good work Alex and I wish I could learn from the best in Vegas at CEG!

Iâve been in the casino industry for going on 10 years. I went to college, but couldnât find a job in my field so I started working for a casino at age 22 and almost 10 years later, Iâm still working at a casino, and I love the industry. Like every industry l, itâs got its pros and cons, but overall I enjoy it and plan on staying in the industry. I get paid to play games all day, sure you deal with some cranky players, but overall, itâs a job that has treated me well. Hopefully, if you do decide to go into the industry, work at a casino thatâs KYO, that means Keep Your Own (Tokes (tip)) because it can be pretty lucrative. Youâll live a comfortable life at the least.
Good Luck!
-A dealer in AZ
I deal at a Hard Rock in Cincinnati. It's real good money and a lot of fun.
Hi, here from Boston! I'm more of a slots person, but recently got into tables and refer to all of your videos! they're hilarious and informative. my normal buy in is $100-$200 at $10-$15 min tables :D
Keep playing slots and losing your ass. Slots are for retards.
The triple 7âs TWICE IN A ROW. I would have left and went to a real casino! đ
Just subscribed!
I really enjoyed this video.
Thanks. It helps actually watching someone using perfect strategy rather than just jumping in at the deep end yourself and having a go. At least now we know how it works?
Alex and Timmy I live in MS and love Black Jack and going to the casino in Tunica Ms I don't know how to play but do win most of the time not sure just how but after a few of your videos I'm going to use your strategy and see how my morning goes. I'll be back from tunica before 4pm and will let you guys know how I did.
Thanks
Liking the music in the back lol. Classy and relaxing
Thanks for this very instructive video
Love the system.. Overall, the first shoe average running/true count was negative region (when losing very badly) and the average /true count for the second shoe reached as high as +5 or +6 or mostly positive (massive winning streaks). Basic strategy works much much better (majority of time) when your ratio of Aces, 10, j, q, k is much higher than 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.....
I'm confused what does that mean bro? Where can I learn it
Niagara Falls , Ontario
Fallsview or Casino Niagara
Thanks for the videos @CEG Dealer School
Super helpful video. thank you
thank u. learned a lot from your video unlike other videos which are all talk and advertisement
I love the background music ⊠oh and the training is swell alsođ
Hey guys. Thank you for this! I am in Western Massachusetts. Just decided to learn how to play, lifelong interest. Gonna study more.
Might wanna learn on a other platform where they actually play bs strategy PERFECTLY not misplaced A7 v 2 and stand đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
Hey man I appreciate what you do!
I actually use the perfect basic strategy on online live casino (betway). I donât have to memorize it, just have the table on my phone and the online casino on my computer.
It have been working great for me. 100% recommended
Hey there I love the videos they're very entertaining and informative. I usually have a buy in of $100-200 at $20 minimum tables and i am in Saint Paul, Minnesota the frozen tundra
new to black jack and loved the video
"17, step sister hand" made me spit my drink out.
So offside it's hilarious.
Lol i like how surprised you guys are at how well the strategy worked. Helped save you from a bad shoe and took advantage of a good shoe.
but⊠you know that you will still lose money right? Basic strategy alone does not make you win. Even if you play perfectly, the game is rigged and you are at a disadvantage of 0.5%.
You can only win if you start counting cards⊠but you also need basic strategy for this
Nice simple basic lessons đđ»đđ»đđ»
I just found you're videos and there are kic a$$ and work for me. Table min in the Detroit casinos are 15/25 I go mid-morning with around 400/500 buck's.
Great content! It would be great if you could outlne the betting strategy you use in the description of the video. I got a bit confused as to when you go up in stakes and when you go back to 1...
Thanks for the tips
I am located out of Portland, Oregon. Started playing blackjack - Basic Strategy and Card Counting sometimes
as a card counter, doesnât it grind your gear that these guys at least unwillingly make it seem like you can actually win when using basic strategy?
Thanks a lot for this video ! It does not exist the same tutorial for basic strategy in french ! But you don't count the cards ?
Man I love the positive progression in this system I donât know basic strategy myself thatâs why Iâm watching the video obviously but it seems a lot of it is just intuitive and thatâs how Iâve always played is just with my gut
lol it is definitely not about intuition hahahaha. it is just math. gambling is always about math. anything else, you are just a gambler who goes to satisfy his addiction
This is a very instructive video. The funny thing about the last shoe (which went really well), is that the progressive system was in sync with the count. This goes to show from the juicy hands starting from 31:10. The dealer busted a lot from that point on, and it has to do a lot with the left of the pack being rich with high cards. Its instructive for cardcounters because you can use this progression as camouflage. Of course, the problem occurs at 34:35 when you go back to normal and the count is still high ;)
On another note, could you perhaps enlighten us a little bit about penetration in an upcoming video? When you determine where to place the cutcard (as a dealer), what are your reasons? Do you give more cards for the players if they tip you, or is the penetration set by a notch? I guess it depends on which casino you work at, but would still appreciate your thoughts about this :)
I'm not a dealer but every shoe I've seen has 2 notches about 1/4" apart (not sure the exact distance just estimating) and the dealer puts the cut card between those notches
The 888 hand also had a straight flush (89T) which pays out 340:1 in some side bets.
Played my first game of black jack in a Brisbane casino in Australia on Friday. Wasnât using basic strategy at the time but I came out on top. This video really helped me remember many of the decisions also takes the edge of memorising each play on the card. Still working towards perfect basic strat, but that was great video to watch and learn a bit. Thanks guys
please donât be misguided. You cannot, and I repeat⊠you CANNOT win against the house over time playing normally or even when using basic strategy. Even when you use basic strategy perfectly you are still at a disadvantage of 0.5%, which means you are guaranteed to lose money the longer you play.
You can only win at Blackjack if you count cards and you have to be pretty good at it.
If you just play for the fun, cool, but donât be fooled to think that you have a chance of winning money
Not sure why everyone on this comment thread is so enthusiastic about how perfect strategy is going to lose. Obviously you are gambling, black jack is one of the lower house edge games, fun, and has great comps.
Card counting is great but takes time and practice.
Check to make sure the basic strategy in Australia is the same. Blackjack rules can vary wildly depending on country as I learned this summer in the UK.
Monkey. Finally I got why Asians say it đ
â@@meganoob12you will never be able to count cards in Australia. I think there is only one casino left where they deal from a shoe. All the rest use the automatic shuffling machines.đđ
I play in San Diego tables start at 15 min. I won't go to tables with higher mins. I've heard of these rules and they're not perfect odds but they are good odds. You play long enough and your odds on average are good. I I follow my own rules on 14 15 and 16's.
As a standard I play 200⏠using 20 units of 10⏠the table minimum.
If I have a succesful double or I am having a nice streak, I put the occasional 20⏠bet after.
It's a lot of money in Portugal, about a week's wage per session, so getting about 50% of the original bankroll is a very good day for me ;)
Like the sound of the chips
What brand and model?
I have a set of outlaws thatâs sounds good (like wooden snake toy) would like some that actually sound like glass ceramic
Any suggestions
I live in Hollywood Fl. I go to the Seminole Hard Rock. $2000 in Chips.
I play Baccarat, Blackjack and Bubble Craps.
I use the Fibonacci Progression to Progress my bets
and reduce to original amount, (1 or 2 units), when losing a bet.
BTW, I'll be in Vegas on the 28th of March 2020. See ya then. c.
My 2 favs....Tim and Alex....little talking.
Thanks a lot! In the 1st game i think soft 18 against a 2 & 11 against an Ace should have been doubles.
Definitely the 11 vs ace. Didn't have bj so he had no better than 20. Gotta double there;)
2nd hand you had a soft 18 v 2. You were supposed to double. Not stay.
Live in Florida so have the screen dealer and I always play the extra 3$ for progressives and other wins. My finger screen swiped my progressive bet to the left so I had $2 on the left extra bet and I hit the progressive but my $1 wasnât on the middle extra bet. -16,500...
Perfect play
Great video
dock it out of Timmy's pay. I really like the background music too!
harrah's kc, all of those missed bonuses around $2500 or so at min bet of $5. trips suited is 270:1 on the left $5-$25 max bet and 180:1 on the right $5-$200 max bet, but only the 3 top facing cards (your two and dealer one)
and does Timmy prefer the Dry dock or the Wet dock from his pay?
I take 150 and play a little side bet (I know stupid but it's fun)
I use the $100 to actually play $20 a hand and put $10 on match the dealer for the first 5 hands. Anything won off of the sides are immediately pocketed and first time I get to $200 I pocket $100 and keep going then every time I reach $200 after I pocket $50 and start the process from the top.
Good video, thanks! Where's the link to the strategy card?
Just found your sites. Catching up on your videos. What are your thoughts on surrender? I have played in casinos where it is offered and have employed it. Yes, only a few hands, but to player advantage.
Good video..
Can u actually use the chart at the tables?
Cleanest, no B.S. tutorial on YT.
Uhhh yeah if u wanna not count them MISPLAYING hands like A7 v 2 đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
Basic Strategy is the best play you can make knowing only the dealers up card. Basic Strategy and flat betting don't work as a system but many people play that way cause it's cheaper to play money wise but you win 3 days out of 10 and lose 5 days out of ten and two days will be close to ever + or - a bit long term average.
What people need to understand is your bets must change in order to beat the house at blackjack.
I use a similar betting system with standard odds BJ, 1-2-3-5. Max you have out there is 5 units.
All betting systems are bunk too, btw. Betting deviations only work if you're counting
So how do you win without counting??
Great Strategy
Dealer / Player Blessings from Maltađđż
The sounds of chips clacking against one another could be a great ASMR video no joke.
For me, the swiping of the cards did it for me!
Weirdo...
I use a betting strategy that is a 10x-6x strategy.
Basically in order for me to place a bet I have to have 10x the amount in my bank roll than I am betting. I keep this bet the same until I go up to the next 100 and then I raise my bet to be whatever I have divided by 10. So if I start with 200 in my bank, the most I can bet is 20 (unless its a double down). If I win and now have 300 in my bank I raise to 30.
If I am losing though, I will keep my bet the same until I have 6x the amount of my bet in my hand. So keeping math easy, if I start with 200 in my bank, I bet 20. If I go up to 300 in my bank I raise to 30. If I go down to below 160 in my bank roll, or 3 hands, I will reduce my bet to 10.
The higher amount in your bank roll you have less wiggle room before you have to reduce your bet, so if you start with 100 and bet 10 you can play 4 hands before you have to reduce your bet. 200 you can play 3 hands. 300+ = 2 hands.
This strategy allows you to exponentially increase your winnings while controlling your losses and allowing you to play more hands!
Damn watching this and thinking back to when I started playing BJ I did a version of this basic strategy but a bit worse lol. Most I made was at 5$ tables and I started with 40 and left with 270$.
So if you buy a new wallet or picture frame they usually come with a photo of "the girl next door". Then you will have a photo of Raquel to post in videos. Nice job guys.
i mistake in my previous comment. when i win 100 units on each round, i go back to 5 units. you could ended up playing 10 to 12 hands, eventually you get to the 100 unit. and start a fresh round.
Was curious about the pot of gold side bet in free bet black jack. Betting on the pot of gold side bet when the shoe count is a true -3 or less.
try negative progression...double bet when you lose, etc. until you win. then start back at minimum bet. start with $2000.
That was a crazy second shoe.
That hand of 3 sevens suited for 21 total on a 6-deck shoe has about a 1:63,000 chances of happening, or 0.0000158. About twice the odds of getting 5 Aces in a Pai Gow hand, or 1/10 the odds of a poker Royal Flush. so yeah, a pretty rare sight.
I play at pechanga in Temecula ca. I only have play $25 a hand and usually double and go đ€đœđ€đœ
first of all thanks for sharing this strategy. I have a question why are you decreasing your bet sometimes after a win and increasing it sometimes after you win?
Iâm in Colorado and play in black hawk. Ameristar casino. They change the table minimums from $10 to $50 per. What do you guys think about video 21 with bonus betting? 21+3?
In San Jose CA. Locally $300 buy-in and vegas $500 & up.
Ok. Just got back from Atlantic City. We stayed at The Tropicana. 3:2 for $25 minimum. First timing actually playing after watching my friend play for awhile. I ended by taking away about $700 after spending $400 within 3 days. No more slots for me!
Iâm in Tampa Florida. Typically on a $25 min table I buy in for $300
I'm just a regular ass dude and I go in with a mild sum of $150 with a minimum bet of $25. I typically start off with a bet of $50 and if I win I go to $25 for the next. I play double deck at Charlestown, WV. Nothing crazy, but it's always fun. Last night I went from $150-250 by the time I left, so that felt good seeing how I lost everything the first few times I went in the casino until I started employing a strategy.
What if you use Fibonacci strategy/system
Sequence goes like 1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,......
Each number in sequence is sum of previous two (sort of) so example 13 =8+5
Which means loss of any hand in a streak is equal to profit of previous two hands.
If you lose you start back at 1
Please do try this one
The house still has the edge with that.
so watchable. nice
Second shoe, quite amazing the count went from -9 to +13 then those GAINZ started coming in hahaha
A fellow card counter I see
Haha video was fun bro just curious to know are you a card counter because at 7:37 the count was already on -11 and you were betting alot ...i dont mean to be critical and i love the video haha im from south Africa and ive just started card counting aswell
JJ Botha the video was about just basic strategy, so no card counting in this video, just basic strategy
hello david here playing out here in Pennsylvania , any insight on down under blackjack. i would like to see you guys review this blackjack game . are the odds good? Better / worse ????do you have any strategies to improve winning probability ???????? Please help.... thanks ...
just a suggestion, it would be nice to have a winning/loss money image on the screen to know how much you are up or down each round... just a suggestion... but nice vid
Also I am in kansas city, mo.... the only state in the country you can't get backed off for counting cards lol...
I am in Alice Springs, I used to play crap and now I started to play black jack.
do you recommend playing the side bets (21+3) they seem to get you out of trouble but usually never hit
Side bets increase the house edge. They benefit the house not you. There generally a sucker bet
Always avoid side bets I learned thatâs just a casino tip
SUITED TRIPS!!! That's 100 to 1 right there that would have been a killer side bet if available
According to a mathematics professor at MIT, in any given BlackJack session, the cards will favor the house a portion of the game, no systems will change that. The cards will favor the player equally, it is the portion of the cards in the middle that the contest is all about. example; 25% for the Dealer, 25% for the player, the fight is over the remaining 50%.
Interesting, it makes sense to me. However I wouldn't give the dealer the same 25% as the player due to the advantage of going last. If you and the dealer bust, the dealer already has pulled your money off the table.
Playing perfect strategy, house still has a .5% edge. If a player counts cards correctly and follows basic strategy, player has a 5% edge.
@@reesem6411 Playing perfect strategy the house has more like 1.5% to 3% advantage over the player because the house rules in many places are crappy. where i am in the province of Alberta Canada the rules are the same for the whole province the house advantage is 1.47% This is one of the best set of house rules you will find anywhere. Also anyone who says surrender is a good option is a moron and does not know math it has been proven that 16 to a dealers face card is a bad hand we all know that but here are the odds if you stand on 16 to a face card your odds of winning are about 33% the same odds of a dealer breaking any given hand if you hit 16 to a face your odds are about 38.46 to 42% depending on the house rules. 5 cards help you hand out of 13. not as bad as most think. still less then 50% so you do lose money but you lose less. think of it this way if you get 16 to a dealer face 10 times in a day this is what happens if you stand on 16 to a face you will win 3 times out of ten if you hit 16 to a face you will win 4 times out of ten long term and last if you surrender all the time you lose half you total bet at a $5 bet you lose 25$ total. the problem with surrendering is you never win anything. When you hit 16 to a face you do win a few hands so in the end you lose less money then surrendering this has been proven by MIT surrendering a hand is only good when you know the card count is Bad. if all you know is the basic strategy surrender is a sucker move all the time too many moron's never figure this out. do you want to lose or win. your choice...
The cards will NEVER favor the player equally, if you think this then you better re-read the MIT bit your referring too Dr Edward Thorp from MIT who wrote the book called beat the dealer the best selling book in the history of books on blackjack, when this book came out Casinos freaked out however the book proved to be a cash cow for the casino's because most people are too f-ing lazy to read or worse yet to dame dumb to understand basic math. People who don't know anything should stick to what they do know, Bad advice sucks.. I point out how most people play wrong and people tell me all the time i am wrong but they can't even understand basic stuff hmm i make $20 to 50$ grand a year and the moron's make nothing. It's all about putting the time in and making the right move 100% of the time or as close to it as you can get your bets must change also, money management is half the game. if you flat bet all the time you lose it's a fact. And no it's not easy it's a grind but it better then having an ass for a boss...
Is there any Blackjack in Vegas that is single deck, BJ pays 3 to 2, and u can double down after splitting?
Watching from Las Vegas go Knights.
Iâm from Orange County, Ca. Curious about the âmonkeyâ reference, Iâve never heard it before. Could you please provide more information? Thank you for the educational videos!
So as I understand, people shouting âMonkeyâ originates from when Asian gamblers would shout âmonarchyâ (hoping for a face card for a bust) and because of their poor English it often sounded more like âmonkeyâ. No idea how or why it became as common and widespread as it is, but thatâs the story.
34:24 - 3 sevens again, TWO to the blazing sevens jackpot!
No David = silence! Which is golden
minium buy for me usually is the table max on a 25 dollar min table usually 500 bucks
7:38 connecticut Mohegan sun is $25 buy in or sometimes even $50
Changing your bets like this is a good way to get backed off especially after knocking out a huge split to double down and winning big.
Casinos are good at recognizing progressive systems.. because they see
The consistent pattern of bets, they will not back you off as they know itâs no
Real advantage like counting.
