    Hey there! I'm the module author of Hey, Wait - so glad that you're getting some good use out of it and for the kind words. :) I hadn't even considered the issue you're seeing where it doesn't create a tile. The Hey, Wait tile tool actually just copies the functionality of the other tile tool, you should be able to click and drag to create a new Hey, Wait tile area when using the tool. If you've run into this, I'm sure others have too so I'll update the readme with some instructions!

      Hi Nettles - Thanks for the fantastic module I've really gotten some great use from it (particularly with one of my more excitable players)
      I should actually go back and update the description of this video, as the issue I encountered in the video hasn't been happening for several months now. I can only assume it was a conflict with some other module that I had enabled at the time.
      I do have another small quirk with the module which may just be down to my own lack of understanding - what's the best means to contact you on to discuss? Cheers!

    If you ever feel like recording the player view, I've found it super helpful in my testing to open up another window in "in-private browsing" ("incognito mode" for Chrome) to log in to your server as the player. This doesn't require you to log out of your DM account for foundry and you can compare the views side by side. A lot more of a pain if you have a single monitor, but super useful for troubleshooting.

      Thanks for the comment Ryan! I definitely use this method a lot, it's great for double checking my walls and lighting are problem-free before my players see a scene for the first time!

      @@Harrison_stream And then you can, in OCS, record the player window as well (even if it is hidden underneath the gm-foundry one)

      @@Harrison_stream Nice! Sorry, I realized after typing that out, that almost certainly were aware of how to trouble shoot from the players' side with incognito etc. haha. Love the videos and cheers!

    Great work describing those modules Harrison! Your videos are very useful.
    Will it be possible to see you and your player in a video to see how things do articulate in Foundry in an actual play?

    Very informative stuff. Learning a lot from these 👍🏻
    When setting a world or campaign up within Foundry, do you copy across Items and/or Spells you intend to use *into* the Items Directory within your world or do just drag them from the Compendiums directly into play or into loot/merchant sheets, etc. when required?

    Was missing transitions effects, thank you for this info! But looks like "wait" is not supported anymore.

    I have had good luck using Trigger happy to preload scenes for players with poor connections.
    the example on their GitHub looks like this:
    # When the player enters the scene, preload the next one
    @Scene[Dungeon level 1] @Scene[Dungeon level 2] @Trigger[preload]

    Thanks for this! Where did you get the raven loft maps? The only ones I have are the ones that come with the book. The 3D side view ones.

      They are on drivethruRPG or dungeonmasterguild
      I forget the arrest but just search for Ravenloft. It’s like 5 bucks and well worth the money.
      The are BIG and may need editing

      @@urDM2nite Hi, the image from the dinning room is included with the maps or is from a separate package?

    Thanks for the helpful video!
    Do you know
    (1) if you can change the size of your image within the module by, say, changing "cover" to something else?
    (2) Failing that, the best way to save an image at a given size so it doesn't fill the entire screen?
    I've been making transition scenes but some of them are either too zoomed in or pixilated when imported.

    Hey Mate, I am new to Foundry and would like to run Curse of Strahd in it. Your tutorials are an amazing resource! However, I can see you have already done a lot of leg work. My question is can I pay you via Patreon or something to get access to your campaign files?

    • @Harrison_stream
      @Harrison_stream  Před 3 lety

      Hi mate, thanks for the feedback.
      Unfortunately that's not something I'm able to provide, mainly because I use so many materials and resources that are either licensed content, or purchased from other creators, many of whom I consider friends - Sharing this in a file would directly reduce their exposure and potentially income! It's definitely a question I get asked regularly though!

      You could remove the 'Token Vision' check from the scene configuration!

    Hey, Wait doesn't work in Foundry v10. Anyone have any alternatives? I would really like something like this.
