A great video. I followed every step and the roof works perfect!
Thankyou for the video... 944 roof is same I guess, the mechanism is working fine, it is lifting roof & retracting properly... But when it comes to fully close the motor still runs & makes continuous noise.... & The roof can still be lifted from rear side... Means that the mechanism rack is not locking it in close problem... The gears are in good condition.... What could be the problem ?
hello, i think your problem is resolved now, but it is the motor clutch that needs to be adjusted
@@adnb.5493 yes buddy... I adjusted motor torque from rear & also one of microswitch needed to replace...
Now working perfect
where should the arms be when adjusting the motor clutch ??
What if mine doesn’t work in acces.. mode. It’s a 87 but will work when key is on. Is it a micro switch ? Also when do you adjust the motor clutch when fully retractable or when sun roof is in close position. Thank you
Great vid! but Wait, wait! I have the exact same car. 87. red, S! Same exact situation. Anyways, I can unlatch the front latches, but I can't just push up the roof like you did. The switch on the console doesn't do anything, either.
Hi mine doesn't go up and I just put new gears in ! It went down but now won't go up ! I check the switch button and that is clean and good ! What are your thoughts ?
