    First time i had clog with d54 when i accidentaly grind the bean and did not remove diy chute cover that i put every night to deter insect from entering. clog so hard that i had to remove it like you do. Lesson learned

    Chinesium. Just think a grinder is clogged and doesn't rotate so you have to in the morning half and eye open to unclog. All my Italian or niche I've had for years ran them through like a lot lizards night and nothing. This machine gives up and you have to open it up. The declumper on it crap. The ionizer is like tits on a bull. I mean the larger versions are not bad but your maintenance is like my Mercedes your at the mercy of bullshit. Didn't it have a pump top?

      Thanks for watching and your comment. I agree with you; the DF54 definitely requires more maintenance compared to other brands on the market. I previously used the Baratza Encore ESP and don't recall needing to maintain it as much.
