Impressive skintone there.
Indeed.
It upsets me that few people know who -- rather, what greatness -- Sir Christopher Lee was and will forever be. I grew up on him and he's so much more than just Dracula and he knew it, hence why he was annoyed by the Count Dooku role a bit and his typecasting given that it's just a space Dracula typecast and they made jokes out of it on set. Such a shame. He was great in every film, from the deep singer of opera and metal to the tall slayer of the night, not to mention the fact he led Aussies during WWII! The great Christopher Lee will never be forgotten!
Always love these big model videos. Great mold but that paint job really brings out the young Christopher Lee.
I’d have been tempted to give him a beard and make him into Dooku
Wrong Count.
Doctor Faust's Painting Clinic lol
@@ThePaintingClinic ROFLMAO
Or give him a third nipple?
Man, a vampire video from Doctor Faust. First I get together an undead warband with a vampire at the head, then I start playing a heck of a lot of vampire games. Wild coincidences. On top of that, it's a very helpful video. I also think that a comment you made about the miniature being large enough that the light will naturally give it shadows is more significant than it may at first appear, since it's a reminder that we paint in shadows on 28mm-32mm models because the details aren't deep or pronounced enough to produce shadows that appear naturally.
Anyhow, I think I'll have to pick something like this up some time. Seems like great fun.
Gorgeous work on the skin!
Turned out amazing!
Great Review , and beautiful casting ! And about the bat , you can always Fondue it ! Until next one , Thank you ! Tony
So basically you have extra miniature heads of Christiphor lee, as well as arms. I think you are taking fandom to the next level there.
Wow, i would have just tried rro paint this in the same way i would approach a standard 28 - 32mm mini. Very effective !!
I learned SO much from this; thanks!
Looking good so far Doc 👍
Outstanding Sir! Kind Regards Johnny
Finally a dress-up doll for 40+ year old boys!
Honestly, without the head and bat, he'd work as any kind of sharp dressed man.
hi,Im getting the bust.1:3,do I spray to start or all by brush?Im nervous
dont wanna screw it up
NIce! But was he actually that tanned? Sure, it might not have shown up that well in b/w, but still, that should probably have been dealt with by the producers.
Sideshow has a few artists showing how they paint the bigger (1/5 scale I think) collectible figures here on yt, and they rely more on the airbrush and washes (yellow, blue and red to be precise) than applying paint with brushes. Might be worth checking out - I'm going to try that technique myself with the 1/6 action figure sculpts I still have unpainted. That said, painting a sculpt with only brushes is fine - I'm however so damn wary brush strokes and stuff will show up or I'll mess up any other way...
How do you keep the paint always fresh???
Just add more water if needed.
@doctor Faust's painting clinic do you seal your models after painting?
Yes, with Vallejo matt usually.
Fangtastic 💀👌
Count Dooku,.... Saruman..... Sang w/ Black Sabbath Member Tony Iommi...
Good grief, that is just about photo realistic, there! *looks at his own primitive dabbings and cries*
Amazing work. Are you going to enter a contest with it? Be careful with that bat. You don't want to get coronavirus.
Time lapse > fast motion
well you do magnets to swap out the heed thats my take on it and glow in dark eyes fore vamp heed but so fare so good and funny thing your almost up to the number 666 you send a prizes to the one who gets thare LOL post will see
A beautiful sculpt and great job painting it! But $175 is way too much for a piece of plastic. Even silver is only $18 an ounce and you can get 8 pounds of beans even at non-bulk retail for only $6. There are reasons 3d printing is breaking the back of the hobby model industry and cost is one of them.
Dr Faust better stick to painting... he knows nothing about the Hammer Dracula films! lol
