@@JunkdUp OMG Please please please forgive me. Your story reminded me of my mother who was pretty close to the age of your grandmother. In fact today (8/21) she past away 3 yrs. ago and is now in heaven. I still miss her so much. Again my profound apologies and tell/show her how much she is loved...many many blessings to you both.

I think it’s one of the less user friendly
transfers from a design standpoint. I love it and can see endless possibilities with it but totally get that it’s not for everybody. Don’t forget you can always cut it up and uses the pieces

I’m just now painting my mothers dresser for my daughter. Love your story. I’ve been a bit discouraged with the way it is coming along but you have given me a lot of information to use. 👍
Don’t be discouraged. I’ve had many projects I started and then pushed aside out of frustration. Hang in there and I’m sure it will turn out wonderful.

Thank you so much. She passed on May 18. She lived a good long life and I know how lucky I am to have had my grandma as long as I did.

Yes I planned the colors. When I use a transfer I plan the colors I am painting with to coordinate with the transfer so the design is cohesive

Beautiful piece and story. Curious, has your grandma seen this dresser and if so what did she say?? Only if you want, I realize this is a rather personal question. I would assume she would love it and be so honored by this tribute
Grandma is 95 and in assisted living two states and a 9 hour drive away. Unfortunately I painted this piece during the pandemic and my grandma’s facility is closed to visitors. Once they allow visitors again my parents will be able to show her a picture.
