You two make a great double act. That was hilarious. I can’t even imagine manoeuvring that around a camp site. I wondered if you could take a seasonal pitch and pay someone to drive it there for you but do they have spaces big enough? We stayed at Commons Wood in Welwyn Garden City last year and there were some big motorhomes in their storage facility but I’m not sure if they were 11 metres! Thanks for sharing another entertaining video.
Rob at Oaktree phoned around a couple of campsites nearby for us. One of them thought we *might* fit. 😂 Ha ha.

Brilliant vid and your best ever. Had a smile on my face start to finish. I have been looking at concord vids the past 2 years while I save my deposit and no one ever takes one out and reports back on how it handles. In fact I am sick and tired of so called journalists showing us the inside of a stupid fridge that opens both ways instead of even mentioning wether a vehicle is front or rear wheel drive. Well done daz the only vid of a Concorde test drive on you tube. Great job this is what we want to see.

fantastic machine, its always more daunting when its not yours, I think its the overhang that you have to watch. only problem ,a lorry is not usually all made of expensive plastic but i bet you felt right back home behind the wheel your van will never seem the same again . !!!!

(Oaktree had a tiny Romahome on the forecourt, but it sold in days and we couldn't take it out.)
It was fun watching him out of his element, but I think I might have been more nervous than him.

Hi Darren, Do you have trouble parking your new motorhome, My motorhome is 6.8 metres long, but in the Dorset council parking states that motorhomes only less than 6 metres The Previlion carpark in Weymouth have lovely motorhome parking which easily takes vans up to 7.5 metres but on the notice board it says only upto 6 metres.. I am confused.
Had a 36 ft KZ Montego bay fab 5th wheel rv but hooked up to a 3500 dodge ram was 56ft total totally unrealistic for most places but absolute luxury apartment on wheels but happier with currant docato maxi for our roads and sites.

I droved one o' them earth movers. They trusted me to go out alone to service it. I was testing one of the motors and overlooked something. It was a nice sunny day and the big door was open. Next thing I knew I was going around like Zebedee in the magic round about.
Very surprised Darren, as a lorry driver that should be easy, I'm a class 2 and that gap you didn't attempt was easy, they do say class 1 is easier so I can understand 😉 lovely motor though and being a MAN even better, I love driving MANs , keep it up fella 👍

I can't understand how in star trek, they can master the buttons of an alien star ship and can be driving it at warp speed within seconds.
Can't think of anyone I'd trust more to take out the biggest van.
Just be aware of buttons with red lights. You never know if it's the ejector seat.

Fifth wheel motorhome could well be bigger. I have seen a couch turned into a motorhome in the dark peaks, probably a bit bigger.😮

It doesn’t need to vent to get it into a parking space! You’re in a service with plenty of space… I have a LGV 1 but all it need is confidence on the vehicle you are driving. If you don’t feel confident then it’s too big for you to safety drive!!!

Can we explain why there a bounce in the chairs?
The chairs have pneumatic suspension. They pump up when the engine is running. They just needed to be set up for the right amount of comfort.

The chair *looks* like it is bouncing, when actually the chair stays level as the motorhome bounces up and down along the road.

Your laugh is just so infectious 😆😆, this kind of camper is just one that most of us can only dream about. Would love to see you try out a Protec Q18 but not sure you get many in this country, German I think? It is more like your old camper size but has slide outs to make it bigger!

You would need an HGV licence. Those who passed their driving test after 1997 will need to pass additional tests to drive anything above 3,500kg.
@@Mevi Ahh, mine was 2002, dam, lol. I'll probably have to look into getting the license as I want one of those motorhomes as they look pretty banging. But thanks for reply back to me :)
@@dylancarter1831 no problem. You would need a class 2 HGV to drive this 10ton monster. A Class 1 HGV can drive up to 7.5ton, which will still be an amazing motorhome AND you'll find most campsites can accomodate you as well.
@@Mevi Wow, that's 10 tons! Makes you think so a class 2 license is needed. I'd want to be sticking a trailer cab on the back to store all fold up chairs/tables etc (if it can go on) so no doubt that'll make it even longer but as I want to go off for a week, i'f have to stock up everything suitable for life :)

I think you as an ex lorry driver are having us on, you could of pissed that in the gap at the services, the vehicle might be 11 M but the wheel base is only short, be easier than a 18 ton rigid, i agree artics are easier but if you were struggling with that there's something wrong
