- This is old but it's one of Boss's best. Apart from great organic sound, the ergonomics are superb. It's so easy to slip into a bag with all your other trash as there are no knobs or other catchy parts on it. Add to that a few explosive sonic tricks and the ability to add an expression pedal and you've got a kit that is a giant in Lego man's clothing.

yeah, man, this is what i like. i think Will from Echo and the Bunnymen uses/used this in his live rig.
Hmm, I haven't had that problem. Maybe check your expression pedal with other equipment just to make sure it's ok ...ummm, that's about all i can suggest, I really have no idea ...
I ve watched all your videos with the me-8. It looks like a great pedal. I was wondering if you could make a video connecting the me-8 with synths. Also... does it worth to own one for my synths since I already bought a GT -3? (Thanx to your video again)
Hmm, well I never really warmed to the GT3 like I did with the ME8, but I still think I'd still choose the GT3 for synth work :)
@@gearfacts Oh I see. Then I will stick to my GT 3 I guess. I can't find any video with a me-8 and a synth, so that I see if it worth to buy the second handed I found on sales. Thank you Gearfacts :)
I had one in the 90s....was good when it worked ...power supply issue.. now back to single pedals 9 volt..it was a fun toy ..takes some set up to use....
I had problems with the tuner coming on randomly and muting the sound. This happened on 2 units. I think it was to do with the jack sockets being attached to the circuit board and with gigging hazards causing the board to break. I'm on my 3rd unit now!
Still my favorite pedal board till this day. It is not just compressor/distortion/effect/delay/reverb like most boards are. This one let you make your own effects that sound out of this world. This thing is capable of making sounds no other boards are capable of no matter how much you pay for them. This is the shit! It can do so much you will get crazy with it right away. Mine got stolen by an asshole band together with my GT6 board. GT6 was more expensive but nothing compare to ME8. GT6 just sound like shit compare to ME8 and they were made about the same time i think.. I read somewhere that Metallica was using ME8 for some of their music.

@@gearfacts yep. I know Voivod started experimenting with these effects in the 90s it sort of remind me of them.
does anyone have aa sheet with parameter-settings? For Example for the Queen sound distortion 6, sustain 9, gain 3 etc.

God, there are so many reasons why writing that message was a waste of your time and everyone else's. Were you stoned or something? Usually these kind of messages amuse me but this is - I don't know, it's hard to describe - I mean if it was insulting then that'd be fun and a good opening for a bit of banter. That thing is able to create its own insane and crazy effects.. I created the effect that made my guitar sound like someone is saying "DIE". Freaky. You don't find any other more crazy board anywhere. You can buy the newest and most expensive boss board or any other brand and it won't have half the features of this board.
