  • 25 people in Florida have been infected with fungal meningitis after receiving a contaminated steroid injection. Nationwide, 693 people have become ill from receiving the shots which came from the New England Compounding Center. 45 have died.

    The title of this video isn't totally accurate. She left a needle in one of the vials she was working with in the hood, leaving the vial open to potential contaminates. This is a huge no-no.

    "25 people in Florida have been infected with fungal meningitis after receiving a contaminated steroid injection." That sounds a bit dubious to me considering that fungal meningitis can be transmitted by many different modes.
