Keane's finest hour.
We need someone like him😥, nowadays players are spineless
Do you want Luis Suarez?? 3..4 ..words knocked on Dembele s head and the kid understood, the luck he had to be a barca player!!!
Shreyansh Kr. Gupta I use football topics to teach English. I know you speak English but you may like it ✌️⚽️
100%, he was a real driving force for us, too many wining pansys these days!!
To make a long story short, the 1998-99 season is the greatest moment in the history of Manchester United!
*After Busby Babes Era.
I hope we return back to the perch. Ever since Ronaldo left, we have been going down hill.
@@oggyjack8252 ever since glazers took the club. Fergie managed us to survive in those years
@@oggyjack8252 ever since Ronaldo left
We reached a CL final even after his departure and won 2 titles
They don't make players like *Roy Keane* anymore....
A player with character!🔥
This match showed the Tactician Sir Alex Ferguson was! Another interesting point is that so many players from this game went on to become great managers ahead.
The only manager in the world that Lippi himself has respect for. As a matter of fact,Lippi and Sir Alex are the best of all times, and they publicly show affection for each other.
That ball from Cole to Yorke was pin point accurate, beautiful delivery, great goal
The first time Juventus did not make it to the final since 1995
@@dawoodibraheem3334 I said *did not*. For three years before this match, Juve had reached the final
@@syahandrian3121 95/96 Juve vs Ajax, 96/97 Juve vs BvB, 97/98 Juve vs Madrid
The "Original" Manchester united
If you are taking the class of 92 to be the original you must be delusional.
The Busby babes established us.
Some unreal legends,Zidane, Keane Davids Scholes.
Wow! What a team both clubs had back then!! Looking back at the world class players in this match is ridiculous lol
I watched this game, both of them, it was a very hard time for Juventus since the absence of Alex Del Piero. Despite this huge blow, Juve made it to semifinal.
I'd like to know, Who was the head coach of juventus at that time back then?
Fun fact: Del Piero was there for AC Milan, but United had an answer for him in the form of Ji-Sung Park. That's what makes Sir Alex one of the best, he always found a way(Except he screwed up against Barca by not playing him)
@@virgildsouza6701 sir alex did play him against barca, even in the two finals which united lost to barca
wonder what zinedine said to inzaghi at 1:25 😂😂
Zizou was open in fact.. Inzaghi always seemed to me like a selfish player
@@Rakeshyv225 selfishness is one of the best qualities of any great goal scorer!
6:13 Edgar Davids elbowing Beckham in the face at the final whistle.
Roy Keane with the Captain Goallll!!!!
Full speed ahead Barcelona!!!!
Italian and Spanish football were powerhouses back then. What United did at that time was beat the best of the best these games were tough I remember them like yesterday. We fought till the end in every game.
That Yorke-Cole duo.....one of my favorites ever !
Miss this CL!
2:45 damn, what a comeback from Conte
Both key players Giggs & Scholes were absent but still comeback king Man Utd hits back from 2-0 down at Turin
The mentality of that team is out of this world. Every flick on, second ball. Fight to the death.🔥🔥
Juve probably was the best team at that time , but this’s football. they miss a lot of chances on both match when u miss u loss
2:20 Giggs on fire
that juventus team was the best in Europe, three consecutive finals flowed by this semi-final.....
Cole & yorke my favourite duo..
1:27 inzaghi's gesture reaction to zidane, get me everything
That move from Dwight Yorke for the 3rd goal is absolutely ridiculous
All legend from two big club.. fantastic
6:15 Beckham flopped, but immediately got up after the whistle since it wouldn't matter anymore.
yeah... but he did get hit by that juve player (didn't see who that was), and he would have been right to roll on the pitch.
Zidane mad at Inzhaghi, such actions destroys team spirit.
It was not Zidane's upset that threatens team spirit, but Inzhaghi's lack of football intelligence.
He was a good striker. But that's about it. His game was limited in other domains.
I have been watching loads of older games and I often observed this pattern.
Inzaghi is a classic striker. Like he wants to pass the ball in penalty area
I want this Manchester united back
I want the entire 90s and early-mid 2000s back, with all of the good and bad. I've never been a happy, or lucky guy and I have been constantly been bullied in my child and teenage years, but even so, I don't hold grudge against most of my bullies when I see the pansies and the easily offended and triggered losers that I see today. If you asked me, mankind goes downhill. Instead of getting grittier and better as humans we get more offended and sensitive to anything and everything under the Sun. I don't like this type of society and I hope everyday when I wake up to see it gone. I hope that it's all just a bad dream, but it's not.... that's why I want the 90s back....
Yorke and Cole are amazing
Back then it was fun watching MUFC and full of hope of late comeback.
Pogba must be seen Roy Keane mentality
Why did you use such terrible commentary? I wanted to hear, “A Captain’s goal for Manchester United!”
Yeah its fresh commentary like it was added recently.... Everybody remembers and loves the the itv commentary from Clive. Plus they missed the two biggest talking points... Scholes and Keane been booked..
What a commentary..... Sooo plain.... Perhaps i was waiting for straiiight forward barcelonaaaaaa....
As for the commentary, a chess match deserves that dull a commentary. Jesus, that was awful.
Best underrated comebacks of ucl
Man United the kings of comebacks 🔴❣️
Legendary season for man United
Look how many of these players became managers. Inzaghi Neville Roy keane Giggs Stam and obviously the successful 2 Conte and Zidane
Actually SAF doesn't produce good managers. Only a few of them became Champions of lower league: Steve McClaren and Ole.
@@mrlajel now Ole become the manager of MU. Not really good result at the moment but I can feel what he wants to build in United for the long term.
1:27 definitely a scolding from Zidane to young Inzaghi for not cutting the ball back
yeah, the players in this era would get offended, sulk, what a whiny players we got now..everything is sunshine to them..just look at now, ronaldo criticize them, they sulk and not perform during game...what a waste of talent..talent is not everything without hardwork and tough mentality.
This along with beating Barcelona 3 nil at old Trafford after being 2 goals down are my favourite utd games
@@omalone1169 It was years ago Bryan Robson scored twice, Frank Stapleton scored the other and it was the Barcelona team with Maradona. The Utd fans got on the pitch at the end and carried the players on their shoulders
for me best duo in manchester
dwight yorke and andy cole
Have seen great footage of them playing, but for me it has to be Rooney + Ronaldo... That's when I started watching football and that team (2008) made me love the game
United struck the post 2 times in the away leg and i thought it was not going to be united nights because previously we absolutely dominated dortmund in the semifinal but didn't took the chances, struck the post 2 times, got ball cleared of the line many times and lost those semifinal.
Miss This Moment❤
People talk about those 10 days in may 99 when united won the treble but often forget the hard work united had to put in April to make it all happen. Injuries to key personnel, that villa Park replay against arsenal, hanging on in the first leg against juventus, coming back from the abyss in Turin.
And I remember both the German and Italian fa helping bayern and juve to accommodate their European run by adjusting their kickoff dates and times, united got absolutely nothing for their troubles from the English FA. Less than 48 hours after this match united had to go to elland road for lunch time kick off against leeds. Only managed a draw, arsenal beat Boro and went top of the league.
Super Pippo! Always celebrate goal like his first!
Best Duet Striker Ever Manchester United : Yorke & Cole
Really great
The Manchester United we want now.
Juventus was Utd. nightmare
boltxebike17 They were a top class team with quality all over the pitch. (I use football topics to teach English... please take a look)✌️⚽️
More like the other way around, in 2002 Man UTD beat Juventus 3 - 0 in their own backyard
Edgar shows his frustration by elbowing Beckham before final whistle!
Super pippo is great. Dia sudah melakukan tugasnya dengan baik. Sayang lini belakang nya lemah mudah ditembus.
Miss the old days
The look on Conte’s face after the final whistle😂....
Once again a great Juventus side that almost nobody remembers. Juve bottled so many UCL campaigns (just talking about finals, they lost 7!) that people, especially younger ones, don’t realize how great this club really is, on level with Real, United, Liverpool, Barca and Bayern in terms of history
7 players from the combined teams became managers, including league title winners, champions league winners and world cup winners
MAGISTERIAL!!
Miss that moment huuuuhhh😭
Schmeichel!
My favourite as well can't believe some United fans actual think de gea is better than the great Dane 😂
@@davidc7419 Man United fans are so delusional, just think de Gea only won Europa league like 2 times, peter has won the champions league and champions league>europa league so yeah, the man u fans are so delusional
@@legendarysportmastercaster4536 Schmeichel isn't better than De Gea because he won a Champions league which De Gea hasn't yet done. Hell, if that were the case, even Claudio Bravo's better than DDG. Schmeichel is better because he could command his box and was a mentality monster!

This was a game. I remember this tie and with Barcelona
Amazing Kappa shirts and Umbro shirts.. now replaced with mediocre Adidas and Nike jerseys.

This is the Greatest Manchester United side ever
Schmeichel
G. Neville Berg Stam Irwin
Beckham Keane Scholes Giggs
Yorke Cole
These 2 teams where incredible
what a player keane was
Who all are watching this during quarantine?
If Del Piero never got injured Juve would have 3-peated.
This the Game which established Roy Keane in Manchester united Folklore
Inzaghi what a player 🔥
To belive that now the United suck and the Champions League nights at Old Trafford are only memories of the past make me sad
Doesn’t matter right now you are Inter’s coach,
Antonio Conte will always be the captain.
1:45 WHAT A PASS FROM BECKHAM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3:41 Conte butt
Lmao
I like this moment
Time fly, there were Yorke, Cole, Stamp, Kean, Butt and a young handsome David Beckham. Feel just like yesterday...
Manchester took advantage of Del Piero's absence.

These players were well built and fit...
Juventus would've won had Inzaghi just let the ball roll over the line. 5:29
Giggs' goal in that first leg was so important
he is brought down by peruzzi, cole finished it off, cole free to barcelona, i think that original
We need "FULL SPEED AHEAD BARCELONA"

Best performance by United of SAF
@Bobs Ssj really? Best performance under him. Scholes was dropped for a few big games for either Butt or Park due his his defensive frailties. Good passer but couldn’t defend.
@Bobs Ssj yeah I know but there were games where Scholes was dropped so there were two CMs that could defend. The ‘08 CL final when Park was preferred. The ‘99 Semi vs Juve where Butt was preferred. Plus other big leagues games against Leeds and others, again dropped for Butt.
Man united need a team like this
6:00 “to complete the most remarkable ucl comeback “

Although this commentary was recorded years later so he did actually know haha
