I love a mango lassi, but my husband recently brought home a Limeca from the Indian market. It is a Coca-Cola product, but like Mexican coke, they use cane sugar and the lime flavor is more intense than Sprite. It's delicious and I'm not one to drink soft drinks at all.
Indian cuisine means blending herbs and making sauces, they are the best! Your vlog is the first I've seen from Vegas featuring Indian food. Indian restaurants with lots of Indian customers are a good sign. You do get around Danny and it's nice to see your travels.

The drink is called mango lassi it's a probiotic yogurt mixed with mango juice
Love the video! I would try, but menu is somewhat limited given the price. We’re spoiled in Chicago (Devon). Not sure if they rotate their menu. Would have liked to see samosas, saag paneer, mater paneer, korma, tandoori etc. Hope they have a menu to order ala carte. Btw, I like to add raita to the curries to neutralize spiciness.

I have always wanted to try this place! I love vegetables and would probably eat the spicy veggies with the basmati rice. The nan bread looks great! I think $25 is a great price for lunch and $30 is great for dinner. Thank you for the video!
$25 for gravy, beans, bread, wings and rice is a rip off. Real Asian buffet have shrimp, beef, fish, crabs, chicken, sushi, egg drop soup, egg rolls, etc!
I am so glad, you touched the elephant it should bring you so much luck. You a food superhero, Indian food it’s too much spice for me and enjoy.
Another great meal deal from DTM. $25 for lunch for that quality is a steal. A Whopper meal is pushing $15! I was also yelling that you missed the Raita which I think I spotted next to the salad dressing. It’s a yogurt and cucumber mix. It is wonderful to dip the Naan in and will also cool the hot spice stuff. Dairy and sweet will cool spice so the Mango Lassi during works well for that purpose, that was a nice comp from the Boss Man. If like you , one is lactose intolerant, yogurt can often be an exception to the issue. The cultures in yogurt help the digestion. Have you experimented with that, there’s always the chance it won’t work but my mom was LI and she could eat yogurt and frozen yogurt with out issues. She also was a spicy food wimp but LOVED Indian food. Her work around was the Raita, it cooled her and she enjoyed it even if it was moderately spiced. Not flame thrower but a general spicy level was tolerable with the yogurt dip. That restaurant, Danny, has been there forever. I never ate there and now I don’t know why not. I used to stay at The Rio all the time. Those elephants (don’t touch them they bring bad luck at the games) we’re always there. On the wing flat, after the initial eating, I hold them at the ends and use my thumbs to push the center out a bit. Then I can bite and get the meaty center. My wings end up museum quality bones when I’m done. Not the gristle though, just the good meat. Yes the drumette section is easier over all. You missed the Indian Sweet Balls (food and travel!) they are very delicious. Glad you enjoyed and thanks for the reminder that I need to try that place.
Oh, those are garbanzo beans or chick peas. What they make falafel out of. I prefer the falafel to the chick pea version. Not my fave Indian dish, the rest looked awesome.

Oh Danny... As a fellow New Yorker from Queens, you did it now!!! New York has the best Indian food around. And after watching this video, I will now have to take an Uber to go over to the Rio to try this place out...the bread, is called Naan..you supposed to dip it into the sauces and scoop up some rice and chicken or veggies with..like a spoon...so guess what, hubby said he will pick up dinner tonight...Guess what im in tje mood for now??? Great video Danny...always look forward to your videos every week...i also believe that was the mango drink..its delicious

I love Indian food and never knew the Rio had this AYCE. Is It really only $25? That seems so reasonable for all the food they offer. Glad you liked it. Yup that's chickpeas/garbanzo beans.

The food looked pretty good. I haven't been to an Indian buffet since the pandemic. I used to be able to go with my Indian coworker when I worked in the office. Now that I work from home most of the time, I can't go because my wife doesn't like it. You need to try some Indo-Chinese food. I hear they make a good chowmein with Indian spices.

Vegetables are good for you as I just ate a chicken teriyaki bowl with broccoli at jack in the box for lunch.

The “spices” of Indian food tend to linger for a few hours after the meal. What was the name of that drink you got to soothe the palate?? You should invite brother in law and your sister out to Las Vegas.

It is chickpeas, not beans. I am watching from Singapore and have been your subscriber for about 3 years. If you ever in Singapore I will be very happy to bring you to all the best hawker foods in Singapore even the Indian vegetarian restaurant that India PM Modi ate there when he was here few years ago.

Food looks good.... But ive been to a couple great Indian buffets with a lower cost, about three times as many dishes to choose from, plus unlimited mango lassis as part of the buffet

I love Indian food, but that buffet is limited to a few of the most popular dishes. I didn’t see any seafood, somosas, and many other items.

My theory. I think touching the elephant giving Danny a curse to love veggies and high rating for the taste. Maybe by touching Buddha's belly will make Danny eat bean sprouts and chicken feet. LOL. I love Indian food but only for full-service restaurant. Big different in spiciness and freshness plus naan are bake the same time as you ordered

Danny I’ve been watching a great deal of nutrition videos. I’ve been learning that vegetables are not good for you like most people think. I’m a carnivore no carbs or sugars. Fats and meat is what I’ve been eating and I feel so much healthier gut wise. I eat eggs cheese and heavy cream and butter along with meat.

You should go over there in and see how the spices are if you want to buy spicy food also, they have all you can eat Indian food.

I make chana masala in big batches to freeze. It's perfect with some naan for a quick weekend lunch.
