It took me 60 years to really appreciate just how wonderful it is to live alone ... not counting my precious Cavalier king Charles spaniel who is essential for company and loads of cuddles ... I've never been as happy as I have since living the single life alone. Of course one also needs a select few close friends... but it really is like living without handcuffs ... even though you weren't aware of them when you were wearing them! lol

This is amazing. The only thing I would be wary about with foam board- is eventually it will start to warp due to steam & moisture in the bathroom. There wouldn’t be a lot of longevity. Maybe pressboard would be a little better to withstand that.

Yes, I think with too many hot showers, you would have a mess on your hands. I really think this lady should be designing sets for film and stage. Things that need to look glamorous but don't need need to be durable. She is amazingly creative.

Venia K it’s possible-I would research, google info to see if that would work. If it is a heavy-duty sealer, used all over, front back sides-maybe that with a couple of coats maybe could work. The moisture from steam is the issue. Because it’s directly by the bath.
At 11:21 she stated to not do this for a tub connected to a shower unless you are using tiles.
Consider including the cost of your projects. That was very pretty.

I know I'm super late smh (just saw her videos) at my complex they say to either present it the way they did or it's taken out of the security deposit because the apartments are supposed to be uniform. I have decorated mine and so have some of my neighbors. My neighbor has a mirror design in her entryway and I have been thinking about that lately. Might try out something like it

I just bought a new 4 bedroom house after living in a tiny 2 bedroom apartment. Needless to say I'm short on decor and furniture and LORD am I happy I found your channel when I did.
I can't remember if I even said I needed bathroom ideas or was just thinking this & you read my mind but this is great. I've did majority of my new place but I'm getting stumped on creativity lately and need storage for hair products 😂

She recently did a nightstand I shared with many people because besides a mirror on top it is all safe if you have seizures. I let her know and she was so humble about it, what a fine young lady. I agree storage for our small products is difficult, but she always comes through, doesn’t she? Other diy ladies try to make you buy their products or are only worried about getting lots of subscribers without explaining things well. Especially because my mom is older & have older friends who give me good sturdy decor that I know I won't find elsewhere & I usually make high end looking. I just moved & only thing still in boxes is my hair products lol I'm planning to do the cornice, a night stand and decorate some mirrors. I know she could probably build a mansion from carboard and cereal boxes 😭

@@familyvibes1834 I think we comprehend that lol. My restroom is the same way. My garden tub is separate from my stand up shower. But even so when I take hot showers there's steam in the whole restroom. The humidity eventually is going to fold that bord. No questions asked. I love her work the woman has such a creative mind, shes an artist. For me just this once this was one peace that made no sense to me because unless she only takes cold showers? Humidity is going to ruin her hard work. Not bashing at all like I said I love her work.

If you use a paint roller or pastry roller, it will help you to attach the contact paper without the issue of air bubbles in the contact adhesive. I also love that you finish everything nicely. That flexible mirror paper might also be good for the shelves inside the frames. And I thought I was the only person to come up with good ideas, but yours blow mine right out of the park! Love it ALL! It's essentially great because I can improve without it being permanently attached... and I can take it with me if I move. After having owned my own homes all my life so could do whatever I wanted, to now experiencing the frustrations of being hamstrung when it comes to decorating, your ideas are fabulous! Any ideas for disguising a tv in the bedroom that is sitting on a tallish chest of drawers please? I'm now considering either the attaching the mirror sheets that you use and can be cut as a border around the black frame part of the tv .. or using the bling strips that you have used in previous videos. I don't like seeing a black tv screen, especially in my bedroom, so I've even considered attaching a canvas with a print on it that I can either just attach to the top or sides of the tv. If I go with the canvas frame, I think that I would have to use two to open and close as the space on either side of the tv isn't very wide because it's in a corner. Suggestions please?

This what I have to do too ...to attach my backdrop in my kitchen. I got my contact paper rolls from Amazon. It is a brick and will look gorgeous with a light grey wall.
