Is it just me, I find it so cringe when K-pop fans self-appoint themselves as experts in vocal or production. Like some CZcamsrs who do these types of videos, they obviously don't know what they're talking about. And obviously, you can't stop it. And people don't have to be well educated on something to say their opinion; but when you are providing an argument, you have to have some knowledge about what you're talking about.
i find more cringe kpop fan who say they sing well when they did a playback/lipsing performance.

I think it was ateez who talked about how idols on music shows dont really get that much of a say in if they want to use a split or how much of a split they wanna use . Almost all of the time music shows want the groups to have heavy splits or they perfer them to not actually sing live at all which makes it easier on the production.
I'm surprised Kiss Of Life is not on this video...because I believe they sing live in every show....

Humm…Shows/Kpop shows always involve post-production and often adjust the audio. This includes fine-tuning live vocals and mixing in pre-recorded tracks to enhance the performance. Largely done all the time. Agencies can also pay for audio tuning to ensure high-quality sound, with the ability to adjust each member's mic on or off, or at a low volume. It's easy to notice that members who can sing well have their mics on, while others have theirs off or on low.

There are better videos where aespa sang totally live from like almost a month ago. The university festivals they attended, they performed Supernova, Armageddon, Black mamba, Next level, even Regret of times and We go, that are very vocally challenging. I think you should react to those instead, and not this.
As a longtime fan I really don’t care when idols lip sync on music shows. They really don’t get paid enough to exhaust their vocals on such platforms, it’s really for the entertainment. I do have a problem when they don’t perform live at festivals and concerts where it’s all about fan engagement. Those events are also where they do get paid a large lump sum of money so it only makes sense to perform live. A lot of SM groups for example only perform live at paid events and not music shows. I also don’t mind a light backtrack in the back specifically for songs with super hard choreography.

@@theredevils3029 the groups get paid 30-40 per performance. Like I said if I’m a performer I wouldn’t exhaust my voice for chump change either. It’s a business at the end of the day

They get paid pennies at the music shows so we shouldn’t bother comparing whether groups are singing live or not on those shows. Like they said, SHINee needs no defending - we all know they can sing live, even with hard choreo, but why bother when there wasn’t a crowd (due to pandemic) and they’re only getting paid 36 dollars 😂 This compilation video should’ve taken clips from other shows like concerts, festivals, where they are actually paid to sing live, and shouldn’t even bother with the kbs or inkigayo shows tbh.
I don't understand why people think this is new and only this generation. All K-pop groups mostly pre-record for music shows or other events because it's simply how Korean shows have done things since the beginning of time. People are only acting like they care now.

Just because it has been a thing doesn't mean its necessarily acceptable. And people are becoming more smart right now. They know their moneys worth and honestly I am not gonna pay money just for people who cant sing live when it's literally their job
the problem also when you just listen to groups who actually sing live. I have no idea the others actually just lipsync.
Sometimes, it's out of their hands because of how music shows work and big festivals like this. They are on a time crunch and must churn out as many performances as possible. That's why concerts or other things where they sing are important to look at.
It's just not fair to label all these groups, especially the 4th and 5th generations, as not being able to sing live when people are not really giving them a chance.
It's not about giving chance because they always have a chance coz you see even if they lipsync, the mic are always on. There are lots of kpop idols who still sang despite having a backtrack and split (though mostly the live vocals are just 10 percent of the whole performance). And people will keep saying something to justify that when actually if they are not good singers then the company must focus on training them in that department before letting them debut. I am also just tired of seeing the fans justifying their idol, like the heck just accept the fact that some of them can't sing live. Yes, most of them can sing but singing live is really not their forte and I hope they can take people's criticism to improve themselves(especially to the company that handling them). Like duh they are entertaining to watch but honestly, every performance is almost just like the others.

음악 쇼 프로그램에서 1위를 한 가수들은 프로그램 끝날때 앵콜무대에서 항상 MR만 작동시키고
가수들이 직접 노래를 불러야했습니다
이 부분에서 트와이스부터, (아니면 저도 잘 모르는 그 이전부터) 아이브 르세라핌 아일릿까지 꾸준히 보컬실력논란이 일어난것이죠
마지막 앵콜만큼은 MR만 켜두고
어떠한 보조장치도 들어가있지않기때문에 가수들 목소리가 아주 명확하게 들립니다
게다가 이때는 준비해온 무대를 보여주는것도 아니고 퍼포먼스를 보여줄 필요도 없기때문에
가수들은 가만히 서서 노래만 들려주면 되는겁니다
그런데 거기서 음정 박자가 다 틀리는가 하면 아예 노래부르는걸 포기하는 모습마저도 최근엔 너무 많이 보여요
1위를 하면 기뻐해야하는데 앵콜파트때문에 걱정하는게 이미 다 보여요;

People that doubt their faves used splits are just delusional. Like we know they can sing but to deny the obvious... Like you can literally hear that its a recording lol. Like using it is not even necessarily a bad thing like they explained. Its pretty useful

You're so in denial. They didn't accuse anyone. Jongho is one of the greatest vocalists. You clearly don't understand what are vocal splits. vocal coaches admired their singing talent and their belting and everything. These are professionals and people who knows about this topic. Vocal coaches don't explain about sound engineering and vocal production of live performances like this channel. They only evaluate their vocals and talent. Their belting, how they achieve that voice or tone or like that. you just don't want to admit the reality. Go learn about vocal splits, backtracks, sound engineering basics that live performances use, instead of acting like a complete delulu.

It's not about the vocal ability or talent. its about if they are singing the whole thing live or use vocal splits or lip sync. nmixx also use splits. If anyone sings completely live while dancing, they should sound like LSF. i meant the movements of vocals. you are clearly not knowledgeable about vocal splits, backtracks, sound engineering basic things they use in live performances. these are professionals and people who are knowledgeable about those things. LSF is the only group that has done 100% live vocals while dancing (whether they are lacking in vocal talent or not. I admit that sakura, eunchae and kazuha are lacking in vocals) Other groups has done live vocal performances in reality shows, but without dancing.

Back track is a separate thing. Their vocals are raw. I don't know why you can't understand this simple thing.

I already lost interest in Kpop because of lacking vocal skills. Yes they're very skillful dancers. That's all. Now I prefer stanning Filipino artists such as BINI and SB19.
