  • Ronda is a stunning town in the hills of the Malaga Province and is known as one of the area's white villages. There are structures that date back as far as 45 BC! With the "new town" dating back to as far as the 15th century.

      Ronda fut construite par les Romains, et vous vous avez fait des construction mais Ronda existait déjà avant votre venue.
      Et votre bâtisseur de Constantine n'a jamais mis les pied a Ronda . Votre commentaire fait honneur a votre pays comme étant les plus grand MENTEURS et hypocrite au monde et cet pas moi qui le dit mais GOOGLE
      Et le pont de Ronda pas un musulman n'a mis les pied pendant sa construction puisque elle date 1870 , et Al Andalous étais déjà mort depuis des siècles

    I've been to Ronda several times throughout the years, the first time being when I made my first trip to Europe in 1975 and drove around for 45 days. I am a bit of a Spanish freak, loving everything connected to the language and the country. For me, the view from up above looking out over the gorge is definitely one of the most beautiful in Spain, but not the town itself. There are more beautiful towns in Spain, but that is up to the viewer. It has some interesting streets and buildings but I think it is the location and the spectacular view that make it special.

    • @laura-bronner
      @laura-bronner  Před rokem

      I suppose I still have lots more of the country to see, of course the tour guide was biased having been from Ronda herself haha. The views are pretty spectacular though!

    • @rayvogensen2983

      @@davide39 Toledo is obviously one of the most beautiful. Then there is Segovia. Salamanca for its churches and its marvelous Plaza de España, Zamora for its Romanesque churches, Lugo for its Roman wall, Cáceres for its well-preserved or well-restored Medieval quarter, Mérida for its Roman ruins and bridge, Trujillo for its palaces and connection to Francisco Pizarro, conqueror of the Incan Empire, Zaragoza for its palaces and magnificent churches, Albarracín province of Teruel, Teruel itself, Berlanga de Duero--and the list goes on. Spain is a marvelous world that would take a lifetime to know well. I am so lucky to live almost on the border with Galicia, a small country in itself and I have two countries at my fingertips.

    • @rayvogensen2983
      @rayvogensen2983 Před 2 měsíci

      @@norah3220 Everyone has different tastes in places to visit. I love history so I usually go to a place that has some historical interest i.e.a castle, the site of a battle or even a spectacular location. Places that have really caught my eye are Berlanga del Duero, Soria (a fortress and desert location), Madrigal de las Altas Torres, Avila (Isabel the Catholic was born there), Mogarraz, Salamanca (giant photos of the village inhabitants are on the walls of the houses), Granadilla, Cáceres (an abandoned village that was supposed to be covered by the waters of a reservoir), Santibañez el Alto, Cáceres (a village perched on top of a mountain--spectacular views), and Urueña, Valladolid (a walled village overlooking the plains of Castile. These are only a few. There are so many more.

    As many times in my trips, I remember that I was at Ronda train station coming from the south, I think from Cadiz/Gibraltar. Unfortunately, I didn't get out of the train station, and I think it was midnight, but I remember many people left the train at that station, so I thought that it must be an interesting place.
