The drummer was good, but he really needed some sound isolation around him. He was way too loud, and parked up on a platform right in the middle of the stage. I hope the rest of the band had hearing protection.
Gerald Albright is one of the finest sax players in the world and this band is fantastic, unfortunately the sound is absolutely awful. The constant low-midrange feedback is nauseating. Whoever the "sound company" was that did this show should be ashamed of themselves. I welcome Mr. Albright to return to Syracuse, NY and play in a community setting such as this, I will provide sound for free just for the opportunity to work with him, and it will be MUCH better than this, guaranteed.
