Hello from Calgary Alberta Canada 🇨🇦, Barbara! I hope you're enjoying creating your flosstube episodes as much as I'm enjoying spending time watching and enjoying everything you're sharing. I'm a kindred reader, a tea drinker, and bee stitch pattern enthusiast. Best wishes with all of your WIPs and stitching goodness (and flosstube creating 😉).
Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing a bit of yourself with me. You definitely sound like a kindred spirit.😊I love seeing beautiful pictures of Canada. I will be in Vancouver at the end of the month for a cruise. Have a wonderful weekend and happy stitching!🪡🧵
I found your floss tube today. I watched all four. I love your stitching. My favorite was the market one. Beautiful colors and theme. I'll continue to o watch and see your projects progress. Thank you for being brave and starting a floss tube.
Hi. Found you through sew me sarah. I have now watched all four of your floss tube episodes. Love listening to you and your stitching is lovely. As an English lady I really enjoy hearing all about your love of tea. It's very warm here in the UK at the moment 80f and no air conditioning. Looking forward to your next floss tube. PS I am also a 1962 baby ❤. Christine

@DonnaDuncan-zr7rj Hi Donna! Yes, there are still a few of us, Aida stitchers out there. Aida is comfy for my eyes and I'm not stitching heirloom pieces, just things for fun and whimsy. Thanks for stopping by and happy stitching!
The internet suggested your channel to me -- and I am very glad it did! I love all your projects and hope you had a lovely time Stitching The Olympics. I look forward to your next episode to see what all you worked on.

I just found your flosstube today. I went back and watched you first three episodes. You are definitely waaay at the top of my favorites list! I love all the things you stitch and I don’t drink tea but girl you make me want a cup! Very, very interesting to learn all about it.
Your first flosstube showed up on my front page today so I watched it and loved it! So much so that I put a pin in all the real life things I had to do today, settled down with my stitching and finished a WIP whilst catching up with all your lovely flosstubes! I’ve been toying with the idea of starting a flosstube but keep chickening out, I could only dream of starting off as well as you, you’re a natural. You are an absolute joy to watch, with natural warmth and wit, and some fabulous projects, and I’ve loved learning about tea … I’m a ginger and lemon girl, occasionally with some turmeric in there. I’ve found you on Instagram and I’m looking forward to your next flosstube. Be well!
What a lovely comment. You really made my day! Thank you so, so much. And I encourage you to go on and start your flosstube channel. Just relax, be yourself and HAVE FUN!

How fun for you, attending a Retreat! And thank you for your kind words. I have anxiety disorder and driving in the rain is definitely not my favorite. I’m glad you made it home safely. Thank you for stopping by!
Good morning. Stitched the Jubilee and didn't think to change the date. Will be changing it. I finished it in 3 weeks. I have the market designs as well. There's 2 of them . Seeing yours stitched has definitely motivated me to get stitching on them. I'm always looking for designs that represent us and our culture. Beautiful designs and stitching. Thank you

Hi Barbara! CZcams recommended your channel, so I watched your first and now your latest. I like your presentation of your stitches. All are very lovely! I hope that you enjoyed Alaska; that is where I'm from, although I've spent the last 8 years lost in Mississippi. You homeschooled before it was cool! We're a homeschooling family. I can very well see you as an aromatherapist. I hope that process is going well for you. Nice to meet you and your WIPs!
Hi Wendy! Nice to meet you, too! Thank you for stopping by! Yes. Homeschooling in the 90's was QUITE the adventure, but also very rewarding. I wish you all the best with yours. And, yes! Alaska was lovely!
Hi B! Just finished binge watching your videos .. loved every minute of them! Really enjoying your tea talks. The Candy Cane Tea sounds dee-lish! I also love to cruise .. especially to Alaska! Have been twice & would totally go again. Congrats on your beautiful finishes as well as your WIPs. Primrose Cottage is my fave as well ... especially all the bees! Just too cute! Look forward to your next video & what tea you will be having! I stitched both Christmas in July and Patriotic while watching the Olympics. Ready for some Halloween and Fall stitching now! Happy Stitching!! 😊
I’m so glad to find your channel. Lori from “Once upon a stitch”mentioned you in her flosstube. I love how you are so organized and how you display the pieces to us. I am a tea drinker (never coffee for me). But I use teabags as I am a bit intimidated by loose tea. However I want so bad to try that candy cane tea! Your stitching is very beautiful.

I just discovered your flosstube videos today and I really enjoyed seeing all of your projects and learning about tea. Your stitching is lovely and I discovered that we share some favorite themes---bees and the Wizard of Oz! I have stitched "I'd Rather Bee Stitching" by Primrose Cottage and the "Wizard of Oz Tree" is on my wish list. I want to stitch it to go with "Dorothy's Discovery" by Silver Creek Samplers. I used red Kreinik for the ruby slippers in that one, just as you plan to do with your project. Looking forward to your next video and seeing your progress. You are delightful! ♥
Thank you! Thank you so much for visiting me and sharing what you're stitching. I have "I'd Rather Be Stitching" kitted and ready to go. Don't you just love the Primrose Cottage bees?!🐝🐝🐝
Barbara, I’m almost caught up with your flosstubes and how I do enjoy watching ◡̈. You have some wonderful finishes - To Market is so delightful and The Hands On Design pieces are beautiful. I need to stitch that series! I’m so into fall stitching right now that I can’t see anything else. Just started Emily Call’s Cozy Autumn Medley. It’s such an enjoyable stitch that I find myself loosing track of time while stitching in her deeeelicious fall colored flosses. Sigh! I’m waiting for my pre-orders that include the new Primrose Cottage Halloween charts. As soon as they arrive I will start one of them. Looking forward to viewing your #5 clip soon. Thank you Barbara - you are such an inspiration to me.
Hi Susan! I’m so pleased that you visited me. Thank you for your kind words and for sharing a bit of yourself with me. The Emily Call pattern sounds lovely! I am going to have to look for it. Autumn is my favorite season and I looooove stitching Fall projects. I hope you have an amazing week with lots of fun and productive stitchy time. Take care, my friend and happy stitching!🪡🧵
Beautiful stitching and I loved your presentation. I was drinking a cup of Adagio’s Fujian Baroque while I watched. I have been buying from Adagio for about 5 years but I have never tried the Candy Cane. I was thinking it would be too peppermint. I will definitely add a sample to my next order! Thanks for the recommendation!
Congratulations on your finishes. Love your projects. I love Tiny Modernist and I have 4 of her charts. She has a beautiful Santa that will be coming out so I am hoping when 123 stitch has it I think I am going to buy it. Happy Stitching.
Another delightful Flosstube. I so enjoy seeing your stitches and your personality shine. Thank you for sharing your planner and how you use it for everything. Thanks for the giggles and for the beauty you shared. I'm not a big tea drinker, as you know, but your descriptions and love for tea are making me wonder if I should change that. 😆Hope you have fun with your stitchy events! Happy Stitching.
I too love x-stitch and tea. I never add sweetener of any kind to my tea so if a tea is the least bit bitter I won't like it. My first love was Flora in a tepee silk bag by Tea Forte'. I have many of their brewing cups, etc. My next love was given to me at Crochet class. Harney and Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice, especially if I'm feeling sickly or it's cold. I use the bags for convenience and always put hot hot tap water in my cup while the kettle is on. I would like to introduce you to someone who does not x-stitch but I find her videos interesting. She makes fascinating hand felted animals. She loves antiques. She occasionally whips up a recipe and serves tea. Love seeing the old teapots and cups, plates, etc she serves in. You might want to skip the garden ones (she has chapters listed in the drop down box) but that's where you see a glimpse of her beautiful animals. No pigs or cows but she has donkeys, geese, ducks, PEACOCKS, cats, dogs and I'm sure I'm forgetting some. The peacocks and those geese with the big bump on their bill is my favorite but the pea bodies are very vocal. I'll try to find an episode in case you're interested. I just found you within the last week. I'm not sure who shouted you out. The channel name is Jeri Landers of HopAlong Hollow. She's also a successful children's book illustrator.
czcams.com/video/un7ZJiF9viE/video.html +Title is Seeding, Weeding and Visiting Birds.....cooking peas and drinking teas from April 1, 2020 Some of her animals are at the beginning (peacock sighting!). Sometimes YT deletes my links so I put the title and date just in case.
czcams.com/video/Ij0POVyZoh8/video.html Title is Tea with Beatrix Potter/ Making rabbits and planting herbs from 4 years ago. I WANT THAT TEA SET! only bigger and an Antique Spool Chest! I hope you find them interesting. Maybe you'll show some antiques one day. I only watched the 1st and this video so I have a couple more of yours to watch.
Thank you for stopping by! I thoroughly enjoyed reading your detailed comment. I like Tea Forté ,too. I have some of their cups, as well. Very nice, indeed. Thank you for sharing the information about Jeri Landers. She sounds lovely and I look forward to paying her a visit. I’m a big Beatrix Potter fan and I have a few pieces of Peter Rabbit Wedgewood dinnerware that I purchased for my daughter thirty years ago.
@@StitchingAndTeaWithB. I love dishes and the Wedgewood sounds lovely. I watched your FT 2 tonight. I tried to find the episode of Charles Dickens but got tired. My birthday is in May also. I never do new starts. I barely have time to do crafts. Taking care of my 91 yo Mom and her pets, which are now my pets and I love to garden spring, summer, winter and fall. People get excited about winter stitching but apparently they don't have to shovel the stuff off a long driveway so I'm praying for another mild winter. I enjoy seeing your progress however. I'm sorry my comments are long winded. I guess when you get older, have no stitchy friends or LNS...Flosstube is it. I'll try to keep them short & sweet in the future.
@natureluvr_d7186 I enjoy your comments just the way they are. 😊 My husband and I take care of his 91 year old mom, who has Dementia and she's a handful! Downright mean, sometimes. So, I understand what you're talking about. What's really important is to not forget to take care of YOU. 🥰

Sorry yo hears bout your Mom’s passing. She is watching over you from Heaven now.
Thank you for that. 🥰
