I honestly wished that we had saw Megatron turn into Galvatron or even better SuperMegatron which is Stronger than Galvatron or even Megatrons more elusive form Supreme Megatron.
I'm genuinely shocked he didn't turn into galvatron but that must count as outside help which is a big NO NO in death battle usually, he got that form from Unicron

Here’s the thing , Frieza KNEW he would win , he could’ve won from the moment cybertron came into his range, but that’s not what Frieza is about. He wanted submission , he wanted to actually hear megatron say he cannot compete , and he wanted megatron to fear for his life. This went on for so long because that’s what frieza was reaching for the whole fight, he wanted megatron to tap out but Megs would rather fight to the death than kneel to another. Loved this animation style too.
People really underestimated Megatron, this fight was by no means a stomp but Frieza definely needed his Golden and Black forms to secure the win through pure brute force.
U do have anime fans that don't know nearly as much about transformers as anime

From what I've seen they (DB) used G1 Megatron and he does have Universal feats in the IDW comic books however they used the G1 variation with said IDW comic book continuity. But universal isn't much when compared to DB Super.
What I also heard was that there are other comic book/ novels Megatrons that put the Transformers cosmology and power at Multiversal. I'm sure someone else whose knowledgeable about these variations can give you more indepth than I. This is just the bare minimum of what I know.
The multiversal scaling comes from the japanese idw comics, which aren't actually canon and count as a separate version

I would say Final Form frieza from Super was more than enough. Just off of speed alone, we don't need DBS Frieza at all. But Final Form super Frieza was on par with base Goku after he absorbed God Ki, including anything from DBS is super overkill.

I was surprised by this match up as I knew Megatron wouldn't have been able to win unless there was something he had up his sleeve to give him an edge that I didn't know about.

Galvatron would've been a better opponent as he has more Planet-Killer and God-Killer level feats. But Frieza is too powerful for Megatron to take on. Now Unicron, that would be cool to see Frieza attempt to destroy.

I didn't have much opinion on this battle cause I don't have much knowledge on transformers. Other than movies and some cartoons all I knew about transformers were they transformed and that's it.
The IDW Japanese comics for Megatron aren't canon, turning into Galvatron is outside help, death battle doesn't allow outside help.
We also don't know the upper limit to Friezas black form, he beat Gas, Goku and Vegeta with it without having to power the form up to its absolute limit.

I don’t know battle didn’t seem too balanced to me. Also the Gojo and Makima doesn’t seem balanced to me either but I haven’t seen or read those their stories so I’m not too knowledgeable on them.

Tyrone overestimated Frieza and underestimated Megatron. Transformers characters are stronger than many fans think. Fans are more familiar with how strong DB characters are, but there are TF characters that can beat them.

Just to let you know, Tyrone, Megatron would actually destroy Frieza. If its IDW Comics and Unicorn trilogy, which IDW seems to be what they used for this. It also goes for the Marvel G1 Comics Megatron. The information is not accurate, full, or logical. I'm all for fun but information and actually credit needs to be done correctly. IDW Comics, Alternity and Unicorn Trilogy are on a whole differently level compared to anime and etc, dude. Trust me. The same goes for Optimus Prime, who also can defeat Superman by the way.
I know you might not know the IDW Comics and Unicorn trilogy but yeah. I'll be back to relay the feats of those Megatrons. I already know a lot, and it is a lot.

IDW Megatron is outer-versal at least and they didn’t really use that version, but rather the G1 version with the anti-matter feat. It didn’t feel like they did him justice here.

Megatron got the Galvatron form from Unicron. Transforming into Galvatron would count as outside help. That's like saying if Frieza wins against Goku, then it's unfair that Goku didn't transform into Gogeta.

They threw in Golden freeza and Black freeza for entertainment. It wasn't necessary. But it was a good battle animation wise and it also shows people that don't know transformers very well, that they are at least formidable in different ways.
