In Kirby games, Kirby's "health" bar isn't actually health. It's referred to as "stamina". So Kirby doesn't necessarily die, he just gets tired and sleeps, as seen in the game over screen.
Kirby dies in mass attack, he is immortal but not in the way people think.
He turns into Ghost Kirby and he can apparently fight as a ghost to get his body back in Kirby fighters 2 I think.

8:34 Mass Attack had kinda a sad ending to it. It didn't end with a comical Dodododododo, BADO! like in the other games, nonono, you see an angel Kirby, Kirby's "Heart" explodes, and ya see an angel Kirby with depressing music. Ouch.
And thats exactly why i avoided dying in Mass Attack. I really HATED getting gameover as it used to scare me.

Period-wise, an angel Kirby in the Mass Attack game over screen could be one of the tragic things besides the big Fukushima nuclear disaster. In some essence, it's like "Who Will Know" of the Kirby universe, years before the Shin Godzilla film came along.

@@Superemie401 technically yes, though apparently some ingame files for some kirby games refer to this hand as "master hand", the one we see in smash bros and the one we see in kirby are technically different. The smash bros game does have alot of elements from kirby incorporated into the main parts of it, like how the combat plays for example. Master hand and crazy hand also have a cameo appearance in amazing mirror.
