Think the name thing could be admiration you know. Its like picking your favorite character in a movie or anime. Like SonGoku or PrinceVegetaa.
i personally found the whole naming thing funny, especially since im like silver, i know im not fighting faker. to me its all good fun, i see it as people trying to represent their favorite player.
im actually less ok with people taking youtubers names, because they actually could be lower rating players, and it could mess with peoples channels seeing some toxic tryhard running around with the name of some 10k subscriber youtuber and flaming allies. ive seen this kind of thing hurt youtubers in tf2 in the past actually, though id be hard pressed to remember who.

So... i woke up this morning after the 5th alarm to watch the stream. So far so good. Then i realized i needed to log into twitch... oops. Forgot my password, glitched the system so i couldnt reset the password, had to make a new account. Kinda obnoxious setback but ok. Then i learned that you need to be a follower for 12 hours before you can say anything in chat. I get why that rule is there but 😭. But tomorrow, tomorrow im going to engage with the chat for the stream!!!
