- This is my top 39 ranking of the songs competing in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo, Norway.
Hopefully you will respect my opinion. There will always be a bit of personal preference included in a ranking like this but I've analyzed all of these songs quite well to make sure that I've got the widest picture of them all seperately. - Hudba

Coming from a German: I really wanted Turkey to win.... I accidently slept the half contest of 2009, so 2010 was the first year I really watched Eurovision. And of Course I was totally happy, that we won... But I also was somehow sad for Turkey. They were SO good. :/

I'm also German and I 10000% agree. Satellite isn't a bad song but it's just not a winner in my opinion. We Could Be The Same is my favorite Eurovision song of all time and I get goosebumps everytime I watch the live version
Alyosha from Ukraine had by far the greatest vocal that year but her song was not everyone's cup of tea. Anyway, she should have been in the Top 5, if not Top 3. Turkey was fantastic in 2010

Finally someone who agrees with me on maNga! My runaway favourite Eurovision entry since 2006 when I started watching, & the only Eurovision artist I've seen who was good enough to make me want to hear the rest of their music - I still listen to maNga regularly

Even though I voted for Ukraine that year,Turkey's song will forever be in my top 5 of all time,but still,I wasn't mad that Germany won!!
The biggest robbery in eurovision history. Turkey sent one of the GOAT songs of eurovision and lost to Lena. It's a real shame that this happened, because as you said, the song is perfect.

I love that you put Poland up there, it's such a beautiful song with an extremely risky staging (it's my 10th, I'm messed up lol). I have to disagree on Belarus, Finland & Armenia though, they're all wonderfully performed imo. Agree with Cyprus & Estonia too, both underrated.

Appreciate your channel a lot. Thank you very. :) What a year! A year we had an epic sax guy, a year with guilty pleasure from Poland and a year Sweden hit the rock bottom (sorry if offensive). And you and I agree on 2 things - Turkey was the best and Germany wasn't our winner. I gave my top spot to Turkey, #2 for Greece, #3 for Romania, #4 for Poland and #5 for Israel.

Its out of date that netherlands sings in dutch..I don´t know of the sranantongo language(Surinam) will do good on stage for this year..
It's not the language, it's the childish presentation, superficial lyrics, and overall flat package. I am sure that there are some good songs in Dutch.

I'm never gonna get the hate for 39th, it's so catchy to me :( :D I remember hating 19th, but I really like it now, and he seems extremely nervous to me. I think you should've put Moldova on a higher place, though!
10- I agree with your comment, I remember really loving it in 2010, it seems worse than I though then, but it's still amazing to me.
9- I love this one, I can't stop listening to it! It's powerful, I love what he gives to the song, what he creates. The emotion, the uplifting atmosphere... And his vocals are amazing, in my opinion. I also love the language. But, 10:15 , oh well. I love the live performance, but studio version is even better!

1- Yes, I LOVED it since 2010, it was in my second place. I've listened to this one so much that I'm now a little sick of it, but it's still amazing.
My top 5 songs (not in order) would be: Ukraine, Spain, Israel, Turkey and Romania. Probably. Or Moldova instead of some other song. Also, Azerbaijan was very good. Ugh, I'm not sure.

36 - Yep, us British people send the WORST entries. The backing singers and Josh did not work together

34 - I feel like the only one who loves this. Deserved top 5 in my opinion.
33 - It's mediocre; catchy but the verses are hard to remember.
32 It's OK, but compard toother Portugese entries, it's probably fantastic!
31 - So calm and peaceful - A great ballet in my opinion.

13 - At first I found this very boring, but the lyrics really pull a chord...
12 - Oh France, what a great summer song. Bit over-rated though in the actual contest.
11 - This was a worthy winner, mysterious and catchy and just plain cool.

9 - This song just creeps me out and I don't like it. Was better with Jimmy Jump.
8 - I loved this song and was so dissapointed it didn't do better. Deserved top 5 in my opinion.
7 - This was astonishing. Deserved the place it got and really made me think.
6 - I am SO glad I'm not the only one in love with this song, it's so amazing even though I wasn't sure if he was singing in English until half-way through.

Well, sorry to be a bit of a shallow girl but there's one thing that worked in the UK entry: The guy was totally cute! Ok I was really agreeing with you until you got to Albania! I love that song. I really like B&H, thanks for the comments regarding it - most people really find it extremely dull. Oh. No. I do not agree with you on Russia. That song puts me to sleep. Interesting viewpoint on Poland btw. Moldova 17th? Really? Based off your comments, it seems like it should be higher... (This is my number 1.) Your description of Milan (Serbia) is really funny! I disagree so much about Spain. I really don't like that performance. Belgium's just not for me. His voice isn't my cup of tea and the song is really boring. Otherwise, the rest of your top 10 is pretty decent.

Well, the title of the song means "Words" in Hebrew so that was funny... (Btw, The song is about his partner that broke up with him and all that he left for him was words)

I gave this a like just because of the comments on Denmark - their entry the next year would be great but this one that song is soooo dull and it always bothered me it got such a high position. With on Georgia too - never liked that song but the singer is terrific. Yup with you on Serbia including about the outfit since I found this wonderful joyous gem because he was a very deserving Barbara Dex award winner. It might be worth you doing a reaction to the winners of that award - some great performances but mostly awful outfits. I get your opinion on France but if someone told me I had three minutes to live and could listen to one ESC song I'd crank up this one and sing and dance like an idiot - en plein avec joy d'vivre! Lena should have won the next year instead it's a fun song but not a winner and Taken By A Stranger is a much better song. Sorry I find Drip Drop really dull.

A pretty good year. Here's what I like and dislike for this year:

Belarus, Cyprus, Denmark, Latvia, Macedonia, Malta, Norway, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Ukraine and United Kingdom.
Meaning that I like:
Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Lithuania, Moldova, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey.
I like 26 out of 39 songs. Overall this year was good. A lot of songs are memorable and catchy. The number of songs that I like could've been higher but things in the performances put me off. I'm terrified of clowns so Spain is my least favourite entry ever. Belarus, Denmark, Latvia and Norway would've been in my other list had their performances been good. But overall, a pretty good year.

Another opinion is Spain. Spain was robbed that year, when that fool was not interrupted Spain had a better place result in the final..
First of we can all agree that Turkey was beyond extraordinary in 2010, and should have won. In all of Eurovision, only Nocturne - Norway (1995) beats it through sheer power of magic and feels.
I do think Israel is candidate for top 10 even though I wouldn't place them there.
I don't think Estonia and Cyprus is much more than top 20 candidates.
Germany and Azerbaijan should be higher.
Iceland and Armenia are both far too low, they should be top 5.
Albania is probably a bit low.
Otherwise I generally don't have any comments on ranking. Nice year.
