I am 74 just bought a 10 year old traffic sport after 12 years driving a Ford bongo no one mentioned the tiptronic when purchasing and to date I find I have no idea how to just drive automatic..I find mainly I am in auto for reverse but driving manual in drive...All the other complicated bells and whistles are very well explained in this video..I am happy to spend a couple of years just travelling and sleeping in this lovely van but thank you for your video it was tremendous help. Bongos are not known for having bells and whistles 🙄

It uses an AMT or "Automated Manual Transmission" essentially it's the same as an Automatic, except it has a clutch which the computer controls for you, my understanding is you still need to change gears like you would in a tiptronic, just without using the clutch.

@@AdelphiaaWoW Thanks for your input AKrylikz, Well I have driven the van for 6 weeks now and the difference to my old bongo is the up and down stick transmission of Automatic drive had added left to right and right and down of the manual added to AMT. I'm 74 don't like changes, but now it just happens (shows I don't have short term memory loss yet) lol
I don't touch the bells and whistles, not yet anyway, thanks again, Carol

The fact that Renault has not covered the reversing camera, is a real bummer. It renders the camera essentially useless if you drive in rain, or on roads with even a tiny bit of dust. I acquired a Renault Traffic three months ago, second-hand, and the reversing camera was a real letdown.

How can I turn on sport or race mode on the van as there are instrumental dials or sign on the digital screen next to the speed?

I’ve got one and looked over and over again. I think they must just use the digital dash from something like a clio rs that has a sport mode.

      Hi Andy
According to one of our fleet specialists, they don't have daytime running lights. However the Sport does come with automatic headlights.
      Hope that helps?

Worst media head unit I've ever owned, generic thing, exactly same in KIA and other cheap cars.
