RIP: Maryam Mirzakhani, The Genius Mathematician Passed Away!

Maryam Mirzakhani, the first woman as well as the first Iranian to win the Fields Medal, passed away on July 15 after a four-year battle with breast cancer at an age 40. We'll remember her for ever. The Fields Medal is often described as the "Nobel Prize of Mathematics" and it is the most prestigious award in mathematics.However, the Fields Medal is only awarded once in every four years. The award also has an age limit: 40 years.
