Honestly, this one of the best deck profiles I've seen across card games in general. The depth of discussion on changes, why you made the changes, the different iterations of each build that led you to your ultimate build. Thank you, East, for such a comprehensive and in-depth video. I'm excited for more in the future!

Have you ever tried a full SoC version of the deck?
I couldn't believe it at first, but the BT17 SoC Black Agumon is extremely high-rolly and would snowballs you fast if the opponent can't deal with it quickly, multiple copies of Agumons in the field just bring extreme value that you could pull back turns or extend your starting memories since Agumon also worked All Turns(Kosuke played from security could catch your opp off guard and steal turns). And even if the opponent deal with it, Agumon is an extremely good target to bring back with Dorugreymon's ESS.
The problem of not finding Kosuke is fixed by running the SoC Tyranno and the Demon Wolf of the Nine Castle options.
What I feel from playing the pure X-Antibody version is that you'd somehow miss out on Dorugreymon's ESS due to prioritizing trashing the Dex cards first, using SoC not only have multiple targets for Dorugreymon(Agumon, Tyrannomon, Airdramon, etc) but they also trash more often (Tyrannomon, Demon Wolf) so that you can actually have those targets in the trash.
And when your opponent dont have a Digimon to Colission + Unsuspend from Dorugoramon, you still can win by simply outswarming the opponent.
That agumon soc indeed underrated

I love watching this development and evolution of your theorycrafting, helps give context to how the final version looks like.
Personally, I'd still stick to analog youth to the deck, especially if you want to play the looga line. I'd also try to find the space to max out on tyranno, following the general rule of thumb to max out on cards you want to see in your opening hand, tyranno is definitely one of them.

Awesome vid. Really looking forward to this deck and the matchups bit at the end was really helpful. I'll definitely be sticking with the Dorumon bottom end though, just because I like that little guy and want to run the Kosuke tamer. Looking forward to trying this one out.
Great video man. Not gonna lie this may be the first deck I build that's not yellow or green..I still have a ways to go seeing how I'm in the west. But I really love the designs of the lvl 6s and how the deck plays.

I can't wait to play dexdorugoramon. I tried the old one when it first came out and it was rather underwhelming, love that the new one makes for a powerful boss monster.

I almost put an order in for the deck! Love this video, I just wish there was a second kosuke card. I feel like if I don't see him I'm dead in the water. Gora is super cool, hopefully this is a sign of a good wave of alphamon support

Surprised you didn't use BT15 Megadramon for searching out Kousuke at one point as it slips under SoC and can add while trashing, although admittedly it is a lvl5 searcher vs Tyranno being a cheaper version of that
Bright side is I do have the Loogamon stuff ready to test this out
Ik im saying something that’s probably already been said but for my list I just run the soc demon wolf option and tyranno while still using doru stuff im sure looga makes the deck a million times more consistent but I enjoy playing with the doru stuff
Kinda wish theyd make a lvl 7 for dorugoramon. So he doesnt have to get killed in every media

@@rubengonzalez1110 Alphamon is also Lv.6 same as Dorugoramon. If I recall, Omnimon and Examon are the only Lv.7 Royal Knights.
@@Dr.SamCarterPhD Well, the Oryuken version is also a lvl. 07. But i to, hope for a deck that DNA evolve to a Alphamon in one point of the game.
Returning to say, been testing the deck online as i pulled SR dorumons so i had to build it. With how you can populate your board from trash, ive been finding demonic disaster to be decent. Swing restand swing demonic disaster to get a third swing

@@East_ML thanks! I think it's a lot better in the x anti version since it's way more raw draw power than the SoC pile

I don't own the loogamons, do you think shuu would work similarly? The memory from eiji is surely important, but if you play ryudamon it becomes immune
Do you mean Shuu the digipolice tamer with the Ryudamon? I think it’s be a bit awkward cause all of the dorumon line cards say that you need an SoC tamer to take advantage of their secondary effects

@@East_ML the tyrannomon you end up playing when you switch to the loogamon build. It has the SoC trait in it.
@@idbw1274 ah yeah, sorry I thought maybe you had meant megadramon. Ukkomon is certainly an option, but something I feel has happened in the short time between BT16 and BT17 is that the drawback of ukkomon is becoming more apparent. If you are running a normal mid-range deck, he eats up lv 3 slots that cannot evolve. And while he himself is good for searching, he can end up stalling your gameplan by making it harder to find suitable lv3s during the game
@@East_MLthat’s fair on the ukkomon. I’ve notice the same thing playing loogamon currently in bt-16. So I cut him down to two and up other searchers to get pieces.
