Zone 3b Chickens...raising a flock at 35 below zero

A look at how we raise our birds in the north woods, where this year we hit a low of 38. Yeah, 38 below! Needless to say we're anticipating warmer weather heading our way. We are also looking to double our flock size this spring which means we will be building more runs off of the coop and hatching a cool mix of cold hardy birds (4th generation). We hope this spring is finding you blessed and content. As always enjoy the show!
