    How did I miss this 4 years ago. That is the most badass demo music intro. Love the pedal and the channel, but the playing is really notable on this episode.

    Just bought one of these based ("bassed"?) on this video, and I'm really loving it. Thanks for doing such a great job with these reviews!

    I'd think about getting this versatile pedal. Btw, that bass part at 33 seconds in is wicked!

    That roadwork Jazz at the start sounds insane. What are the pickups? Dimarzio?

    If i hadn’t switched to a helix floor I would have been all over this for my old analog pedalboard.

    Hi Gregor, has the Ripply Falls been okay with active basses? I noticed a few active basses in the video. Jam recommends using the pedal with passive basses on their site.

    Does any know know if there is a difference between the Ripely Fall and Ripely Fall Bass other than the color?

  • @squishy949
    @squishy949 Před 3 lety

    Does anyone know what the difference is on the 'bass 𝄢' model? I can't find anything about it on their website or in the manual. On their drive pedals the bass models get an extra mix control, but the controls are identical here to the normal Ripply Fall. I wondered if there was something like a low frequency bypass added in but the product shots on their website even share identical pictures of the PCB with the non-bass model. I ask because there are a lot more Ripply Falls (non bass 𝄢) on the used market. (I do dig the black enclosure though!)

    I love it. Will it not get lost in a mix though? Might work for Fats Thin Lizzy

    Perfect pedal, but……… not for active basses like Wal, Spector etc. To much output from the bass. The pedal gets distorted. At Jam website it’s mentioned.

      Yeah, those bass manufacturers have - rather thoughtfully - incorporated volume pots in their instruments, though.

    In a mix these modulations will be lost. Keep bass fat and solid, and leave twinkles to higher frequencies. Beautiful playing here though chap. Giant steps are what I take...
